January Technical RESCALING: WHY BOTHER?
Jim Moon will share his considerable expertise regarding scale design and its importance to
 easier and more stabile tuning, voicing and other closely related topics.

Indeed, why should one bother to change a piano’s scale?
As far as this writer knows the better piano manufacturers did a remarkable job of designing
workable scales using the old empirical method. However, they lacked some of the tools
necessary to use some of the most helpful acoustical information that has long been available.

The Chapter Holiday Party is January 8th, 2005.
 
Festivities begin at 5pm
Bob Bergantino and Bob Russell have taken the lead on our Annual Winter Party. Once again we
meet at the Bergantino residence/party center in Willoughby Hills.

Chapter will bring the honey baked ham and soft drinks.
