Presidents Message
I'd
like to thank you for electing me to be your president for
the coming year. I would also like to introduce your newest board members.
Stewart Freedman will be serving as our new Vice President. Along with these duties,
Stewart will also handle the important position as Technical Director for the next
year. John Mancino will work hard in the position of Recording
Secretary. This is Stewart’s and John’s first year on the board, and
they will bring fresh energy and ideas for making our chapter even greater. Last,
but certainly not least, Rod Summerlin puts his financial expertise to good use as
treasurer.
On behalf of our chapter, I would like to thank our outgoing officers Bob Bergantino and
Chester Robinson for their exceptional service to the chapter over the last several
years.
It is the board’s goal this year to provide you with excellent technicals on a monthly basis. To further this goal, the chapter has approved a budget of $1500 to bring in some of PTG’s most talented instructors. Technical Director Stewart Freedman will provide you with his vision for the coming year in the August newsletter.

CHAPTER NEWS
The chapter has received applications for membership from Miriam and Robert
Thayer. I believe they are from the Ashtabula area and have been
guests at several meetings. These applications should come up for a vote
at this month's meeting.
In addition, the chapter will give instructions to our
delegate to Council Meeting. If you have the time, review the BYLAWS COMMITTEE
REPORT June, 2004.
I would point out of interest to our chapter, (page 1) Proposal #2. and (page
18) Proposal # 12.
