Our numbers were small but interest was strong for our February meeting

THE TECHNICAL was under the leadership of Brian Wildman and his
co-instructor/colleague Ron Jackson. With numerous handouts, over-head
projection, and many questions from our group, we looked at what we could
and should be doing for retirement, and some tax planning strategies. I
think all of us could use some improvement in this area. Though our number may
have been small, we had lots of questions and discussion. (It was not
missed that some of our members were not available for this meeting as they have
RETIRED to warmer places for the winter.)

Next Month:
The chapter goes on the road,
with a journey to the shop of
Stu Freedman. There we will find a collection of
pianos on which to ply our expertise.
"The technical may be a
simplistic tech for some of the guys, so I am hoping that the more experienced people
will participate to give the less experienced members a view of how to approach action
repair/rebuilding. If there are enough guys, I thought of maybe putting teams
together to evaluate actions and then compare results together. If time permits
it might be interesting to compare costs of materials from different
suppliers. "
