Who are these people anyways?

Dexter: The leader

Well, mostly. Dex is one of the two founding members of the household, and the one who seems to be running the show for the most part. And most the rest of us like it fine that way. You wouldn't catch us dead trying to lead this bunch of lunatics... um, I mean... Ah... We wouldn't dream of trying to take the glory and prestige that leading such a fine household brings. Yeah, that's it...

But seriously, if it weren't for Dex's tireless efforts and willingness to donate huge amounts of time and money to the cause, we wouldn't be anywhere. Thanks Dexter.

Dexter, the loonie. Er, leader.
Iolar: The general

Again, mostly. He's our ranking heavy (in as much as we have any sort of ranks) and the one we listen to when we're doing our battle planning. He's got a cool head about him, and is one of the few heavies who's willing to take on the rather non-glorious job of guarding over us and keeping us alive. He's also the man with the van, which I'm fairly sure he bought just so he could lug gear to wars. No matter hopw much he may claim otherwise.

Iolar
Kenneth: The Fox

That's me. I'm one of the house's archers. A decent one, I'd like to think, but it's hard to tell. You never get to see your own kills when you're an archer. I also like to lend a hand when time comes to make more armour. And feasts. I love to cook, and I've been responsible for arranging the household's last couple of feasts. That doesn't mean I've done most of the work, far from it in fact. I just delegate that out.

Kenneth the Fox
Bethany and Hengist

These two are a teriffic couple. Bethany is a great archer, and calls a mean barrage too. And Hengist is another of those invaluable sort who keeps us alive while we rain death on the enemy from afar. They, along with their new addition Kestrel, haven't made it to the last few wars, and they have been sorely missed. Come back, guys! We need you two to help us kill better.

Bethany and Hengist
Breggon: The one handed

Breggon is yet another of our lights, and the one we're most likely to shoot in the shoulder before a battle. The reason being that he's a decent shot with the bow, but deadly when he gets a hammer or axe in his hands. He can fling them way farther than any of the rest of us, and with better accuracy. He's also one of our most tireless workers, always willing to lend a hand when someone needs some armour made or some arrows built. So, on behalf of everyone in the household, thanks Breggon. And sorry about that "stray" arrow that got your arm...

Breggon
Hamish: The padre

Brother Hamish is the spiritual guide for this bunch of ruffians and rogues. He's also a good shot with the bow, proving that men of god aren't above a little killing now and then. The padre is great to have around camp, never one to shirk his duties at the scullery or other such unpleasant tasks.

The Padre
Malcolm: The Scott

Malcolm is one of our more recent additions, but has proven himself invaluable on the field. His skills as a heavy are constantly improving, and he has proven to be a great motivator for the rest of us. He's also keen to lend a hand when the time comes to do camp chores or to make some new gear. And he looks really keen in a proper kilt. Now if only the SCA would let him fight in woad...

Malcolm
Falconer: The swordsman

Falconer has joined us relatively recently, and is one of the few rapier fighters in the household. He's also going to join us on the field as a light once we can get his kit together. He's one of the most creative members of the house, and can spin a tale that will keep a room spellbound for hours. Hmmmmmm... Perhaps we can come up with a way to combine the two so he can entrance his foes with a tale then run them through...

Falconer
Callah: the creative one

Callah joined the house with Falconer, by whom she was kindapped. Or that's what her family seems to think, anyways. She is planning on joining us on the field as a light, and also honing her skills and taking up the rapier. She's also one of the people most responsible for our collective backgrounds, having helped many of us come up with our personae. And she cooks a mean pie...

Callah
Andrew and Tina

Having just joined us most recently, Andrew is still working on getting his armour together so he can join us on the field. But his enthusiasm will certainly help with that process. And Tina, though I'm not sure if she aspires to join us on the field, is a great conversationalist and was lovely to have on the field. She kept us all well hydrated and made no small number of runs from the field to our camp to fetch the forgotten.

Andrew and Tina
Astrid: The newcomer

Astrid joined us at this year's Clinton war. She arrived on Friday just wanting to spend some time with Dexter, her friend. Saturday morning she decided maybe she'd like to try fighting. Saturday afternoon, after running the length of the camp many times, she was ready to fight, and accomplished both Holy Grails for a new fighter. She made a kill in her first battle, and survived the second. Her enthusiasm and energy are both extremely welcome in the household.

Astrid
Wieke: The founder

Wieke is the other founder of the Silver Talons. Unfortunately, she hasn't been seen in a very long time. At least, not in association with the household. Hopefully we can rope her back in, since she is a wonderful person to know, and the household would be significantly better for her presence. Especially when the time comes to make more garb. Maybe we'll have to kidnap her...

Wieke
There you have it. The current roster of the household. If you haven't had enough, you can go back from whence ye came. 1
