David is now involved in Borris Scouts for 24 years, ever since i could walk i was dragged on scout activiites with my mother as a leader. I am currently a leader 10yrs with the troop starting in 1995. My claim to fame is been the patrol leader of the Terminator patrol when we were the first patrol to win the all ireland final (Smythe Cup in 95). Proud to say that i have planned and organised 4 international trips for the scouts including a ski trip to austria. I have taken part in Portumna 85, Gosford 89, Ballyfin 93, lough Dan 97 and Aughagillan 99. Cant wait for the next jamboree in 2008.....
Sinead Nolan ASL
Sinead is a scout leader for 6 years now and has come up through the scout ranks also. Her claim to fame is been part of a double smythe cup winning team 97 and 98 with the dolphin patrol.
