CHAPEL SERVICES No. 2

Child of God, as you come and take your seat, today, believe God. Here in this moment and in this place, He is in our very midst. Present. Here with us. Waiting. Watching. Standing by with His eyes fully upon you. Fix your eyes upon Him. You need a heart fixer and a mind regulator today, no matter what the hour. For every one of us, if the truth be told, can use a special touch from the Master today. What do you need today? What is your problem today? "How can I make it," did I hear you say? Trust Jesus. Jesus will surely make a way. In the time it would take for you to cry out to God, you will have received your answer. And that may be, "yes", "no", or "wait". An answer, nevertheless. There is peace in the offing. Let us pray. Bow your head in humble submission to the Lord. Just a little talk with Jesus will make it all right.
Dear Heavenly Father, Breakforth like morning dew upon the rose pedals. Alight as a bird upon the blooms of spring. Spread your leafy arms about us in the cool of the day. Lift us upon the joys of time. Grant unto us, please, the solitudes of this moment in time. Hasten to us in the winter of our days. Strengthen, we pray, your people around the world and calm us in the gentle cradle of your windswept palm. This is our earnest prayer in Jesus's name. Amen.
Amen. Let the people of God now say, "Amen."
Lord?? What does it mean to say "A Phony Revival For A Phony Church?" I want to preach this message one day to your people. I receive it in my spiritual ear, but what, exactly does it mean? And, I thank you for the message full of fire, truth, and redemption.
THE SCRIPTURE:
THE THEME: A Phony Revival For A Phony Church
THE SONG: Sanctus from Faure's Requiem
This message is from out of God's mouth to your ears. There are revivals all over this world. Every time you turn on the tv or your radio and pick up a newspaper, you will find a revival. Oh, you know you are searching for a revival. "Hallelujah, Thine the Glory, Revive Us Again," Isn't that how the song goes? And where these revivals are, invariably someone who is well-known will be scheduled to preach. Come to my church. Get Dr. Preacher so and so to come. We can pay the price. We can raise the money. We can have enough bake sales and chicken dinners and fish fries to pay for it. We can afford to send for him or her to come bring the word to _our_ church. And, so the agenda has already been planned for sometimes years in advance. It doesn't matter whether or not the planned speaker will live long enough to show up at the appointed hour. Isn't that the truth? It doesn't matter whether or not the meeting place will still be intact by the time the meeting date rolls around. When the appointed hour comes, you just expect that people will show up. The evangelist or preacher will be there, and the doors of the meeting place will be flung wide open to receive the people. What faith? All of the faith in the world would not, however, keep the worshippers in the world, unless God is in the faith.
Faith. What is Faith? Christians believe. Christ, the Hope of Glory. And, "if we glory in anything, let it be that we are Christs and He is ours." We are the folk Christ died for. He said, "My sheep know my voice and another they will not follow." There is a time for revival. But, don't you know that God alone calls the revival? Every time His people come together, a revival ought to break out. What are you saying, preacher? Revivals are uplifting. They are Spirit filled. They are Love and Peace. They project the will of God on the screen of your mind, heart, body, and soul. Change breaks out all over. Everything you had a mind to do, you have a changed mind, if it did not conform to the mind of God. Whenever you had a thought that was not in conformity to the Bible, God's Holy Spirit met you in the midst of your turning away from God's truth and took you by the shoulders and shook you to the very core of your sanctified soul. And you had a revival right then and there. You had a revival and all you could say was: "Something touched me! I felt a touch of God, and my mind is made up to follow Jesus all the days of my life." Some of these revivals come into town once a year. And the main purpose of many of them is to get your money -- and that within a matter of one hour or less. You see, the topic of discussion is M-O-N-E-Y! Yes. It does take money to maintain the ministries, but if you preach the gospel of Jesus and teach His truths, God will see that whatever you need will come. We need to be faithful stewards over the things of God. And that includes material things. Money need not be a stumbling block in the Kingdom. And neither should poverty be a stumbling block. Yet, people will look down on you with upturned noses, if you live in poverty. Jesus said, "The poor you will have with you always." No doubt some of you haven't gotten around to reading that, or just skimmed over that page. We can take a look at it now. Look at it now. "For you have the poor with you always, but Me you do not have always." --Matthew 26:11. If we read the verse before this one, and the one immediately following it and see it within the context in which it was given. And, when you truly understand it, you will experience a revival that will be unlike any other. My work as a preacher of the gospel of Jesus compels me -- and I must obey to tell you -- every revival is not a revival. Every church is not a church. There is a great shaking, and it is by God's own hand. The Church The House of Prayer The House of Praise These are the things pleasing to God -- where His sheep are fed Biblical truths. The Word of God goes forth, and the people of God are being blessed to be a blessing to somebody else. Only God gives the revival. Be ye revived today. Arise and go forth to be a blessing.

Isaiah Chapter 58
Read it. Then come back for the message.
And, what is the belief?

Come take a moment to let us pray for you and with you. Just repeat these words with your own mouth and believe them in your heart. Just say, "Lord Jesus, I don't know if you can even look on me right now. But I do know that everything I have tried on my own has not worked for me. I need a Savior in my life. So, right now with my own mouth, I confess that you, Lord Jesus are my Lord and my personal Savior. I believe that you died for my sins on the cross at a place called 'Calvary'. I believe that you were crucified, died, and were buried to cover my own sins and the sins of the world. I believe that on the third day you rose from the dead (called the resurrection), and that you are now standing before the Father making intercession for me. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. I surrender my life to you right now. Thank you for hearing my prayer in the name of Jesus. ~Amen.
Thank you for praying that prayer. Now, go get yourself a Bible. Get into a Bible-believing church. Stay in God's Holy Word. GOD LOVES YOU TODAY!
Jesus came to call sinners. Aren't you glad He called you and aren't you glad that you came forth? Stay your course of faith in Jesus' name. God bless you and grant you His peace as you go forth in His service.
