  • Cornell Feline Health Center - The previous URL we had for this site stopped working, but with due diligence, we found it again at a different site. The Feline Health Center is being redone, and though it's currently under construction, don't hesitate to stop by. They are pretty quick at putting up information. Cornell's FHC is *THE* definitive source on feline health care.
  • Pet Loss Grief Support - This is a very comprehensive site for dealing with pet loss and grief. They hold a Monday Candle Ceremony - people all over the world light candles at a designated time, in memory of that week's list of pets passed on, missing or in critical health. Also lists international Ceremonies in different languages. An amazing, huge resource list. A "must see" site.
  • Plants Toxic to Cats - A comprehensive sight with great information, links to pictures, descriptions, and remedies for plants that are very harmful to our felines.
  • Franny Syufy is the Net Guide for Catlovers at About.com. A site full of tips on health, care, where to find information on just about anything feline related. Plan on spending time there; there's much to read!
     
  •   Please adopt a homeless pet. There are so many felines that need your love and dedication.

  • And if that doesn't work, how about Interspecies Telepathic Communication? These folks have an extensive site on animal telepathy. If you want to hire one to 'read' your pets, they have a long list of animal telepaths located throughout the U.S., by region. Hmmm . . . we wonder what that costs by the hour? Maybe if we got a newspaper route . . .

  • Alcyone's Live Cat Cam - Another live cam site with a camera pointed into the kitchen from a hallway at floor level where Ebi and Beowulf eat and like to lay about. This cam is refreshed every 15 minutes starting at the top of the hour.
  • "The Cats' House" - How do nine cats and two humans live in harmony in confined space? This guy has the answer. He spent ten years building catwalks in his house. Yeah, so, what's so special about that? Well, they're hung from the ceilings!

A quest! I want to find the best cat furniture sold on the net. I'm not talking about your standard cat condo or cat post; I want the cream of the crop, the non-standard, the unusual. So, if you know of a site that has awesome cat furniture, please e-mail the URL to Cleo at [email protected]! 

  • Site #1:  Unique cat "trees" ... literally.  Smith Industries has an unusual style of cat furniture made from trees. And we all know how felines LOVE trees!  Now your indoor felines can enjoy the real thing.  Be warned though, if you fall in love with their cat trees, it'll cost you. Best ordered by those who have plenty of bucks to burn. We rate the site paws: Unique style and structure, but lofty prices.
     
  • Site #2:  We recently received a link from a business that builds what I consider outstanding examples of some very nice cat furniture.  Their products have been featured on television on "The Price Is Right" and "While You Were Out".  Boy, would I LOVE to have that Comfy Custom Tree Tower with the hammocks!   • Wow! We have international appeal! An Italian Siamese breeder wrote to us about their site. It has some absolutely gorgeous felines.  Odie's taken quite a shine to TRAUM VON FF SAMURAI .  I can't keep him from staring at her for hours. Good thing he doesn't have a passport!
