New Haven, Ct., Feb. 6, 1698, his second wife; he m. 1st, Betsey Horn, b. about 1699, who d. Sharon, Jan. 8, 1762, Shoemaker and tanner; came from Norwalk and was an original proprietor of Sharon 1738; a prominent man and large land owner; he lived near the stone bridge north of the meeting house; Patriarch of the Pardee family of Sharon; or by his first wife he had Thomas, Jehiel, John, James, George and Moses, all whom, except George, married there, and had descendants. Representative 1755-6, 8, 60-2. No children by 2d marriage. He d. Sharon, July 13, 1766.
