Marriage recorded in Falmouth, but he was then of Barnstable. He was mentioned in the will of his Uncle, John Hamblen, 1734. She was admitted admitted to First Congressional Church Falmouth, June 18, 1738.

In the will of his father, 1754 it appears that Sylvanus was then dead, and a lot of land at Lake Pond given to his heirs.
