However, after child #4 was born, the parents joined the LDS Church and therefore the children #5 to #12 were not baptized into the Lutheran Church in this name, but merely recorded as Anderson. All of these children, upon arrival in America took the name of Nielson. Sara Helene remained in Denmark. Stine Marie Christiansen had two children before her marriage to Anders Nielson. They were born out of wedlock. Anton took the name of Halversen and Annie lived and took the name of Nielsen.

The obituary of Anders Nielsen as it appeared in the Deseret News, May 23, 1913:

"Andreas Nielsen, aged 67, a watchman at the midvale smelter, died at his home in Farmer's Ward as the result of injuries suffered in a fall Tuesday. He stumbled over railway tracks and at first it was thought he was not seriously hurt, but his condition grew rapidly worse and yesterday death ensued." Parents: Neils ANDERSON and Mette SORENSEN.
