| Candles: Tips for best results ~Choose the color that best represents the magick that you plan on doing ~You can carve your working (ex. If for money..place a $ with any amount ) onto the candle. Runes are great for this or just words ~Choose an anointing oil that matches the working ~If no specific oil available, you can use olive oil ~While anointing (or"Dressing) the candle, focus on your goal coming true ~Charge the candle with your energy of your intent ~It is best to allow the candle to burn down all the way. Then bury the candle remains(On your property if bringing something to you...Off your property if taking something away) |
| Dressing the candle: *There are two methods to anoit the candle depending on who you talk too. 1) If bringing something to you, take your power hand with oil and point the candle head at you. Starting at the base of the candle, glide your hand towards you ending at te head of he candle. Then turn the candle around & Start at the head & draw towards you ending at the base. Repeat to more times, focus on your intent the whole time. If taking something away from you repeat the same process, however, push away from you (not towardsyou). |
| 2) If bringing something to you...hold the head of the candle facing you. Starting in the middle of the candle & pull towards you. Turn candle around and again start in the middle & pull towards you. Repeat two more times. If taking away from you, push outward from the middle. I prefer this method that starts at the heart of the candle to place your intent. |
