| 9*11 Tribute On September 11,2001, the sense of security of our nation changed. I remember where I was, do you? I was at my desk working, when I heard the news come over the radio. A plane has hit tower 1. "It must have been an accident", someone stated. Then the second plane, there was no denying what this was. Shock! Then a cold reality came over me. Did my uncle go to work that morning. Were he and the others in the office, as well as, the planes okay? Just an hour down the road, a plane has struck the pentagon. In my neighbor state, another plane crashes. We have been attacked on our own land. Fear, disbelief & uncertainity....how could this happen. Heros come in all sizes, colors and shapes. I give honor to those individuals that defend this country, so that we may have the freedoms that we sometimes take fragranted. No one wants war, however, sometimes it is necessary. To the men and women that protect our streets or tackle an emergency situations to save lives. We thank you! To the families and survivors, your strength,love and belief makes you a better person. Giving honor to those men and women that lost their lives on September 11th, we will never forget you, your stories, your courage. Acts of selflessness,dedication and bravery. From a family member of a World Trade Center survivor, please say to your loved ones, I love you everyday. Never take anything you have fragranted.
