Team Michelin consists basically of one driver: Ringo Chong. He is another local driver who, like D. Krishnan, has made headlines in motorsports in and around the region. He races everything from go-karts to F3000 cars to touring cars besides SMSA events. Last year, he had the privilege to get behind the wheels of an authentic 1995-spec Prodrive Subaru Impreza, formerly driven by Possum Bourne, once a factory driver for the 555 Subaru World Rally Team. That particular rally car was purchased by an Indonesian businessman by the name of Firhand Ali, and "lent" to Ringo for local motorsports events. However, the lack of a registration plate makes this car ineligible for Rally events. But there was no denying it in the 1996 season, when it swept almost all the events it entered.

Other cars in Ringo's stable include a more sedate Subaru WRX he raced before he got this Prodrive Subaru, and in which he still races when the Prodrive Subaru is not eligible.
