FREEFALL
A POEM BY MELISSA JEAN
Flying on a downward spiral    To earn my rights; to pass my trial                                         Flowing effortlessly through the air                                     I didn't give it a thought why I didn't even care                       The wind gusts me up higher yet higher still                          I love the feel I love this thrill   As I fall tumbling down; my lips form a tiny frown              I realize I'm about to crash and burn                                        And now my life has lost it's turn                                         All for that one raptureous flight                                       I lost it all on that one freefall night
LIKE A DIAMOND
  ~A Poem By Melissa~
I love you like a diamond, that is clear cut like perfection                  Even if that diamond is flawed it still sparkles a crystal reflection       The diamond can sparkle in any light                                               Just like my eyes once you are in my sight                                         I love you like a diamond is hard    For my love for you will never break nor even shard                      And should that diamond I love be set in my hand                                I would surround it and make it a band                                               I love you like a diamond is pure     For it's beauty is known to endlessly endure                             I love you like a diamond is smart   I love you my darling with all my heart!
THE REBEL
     ~ A POEM BY MELISSA ~
Wild as the wind in the fields on fire    As lovely as the angels' trumpetous choir                                                   A single rider on a sunset night            Comes forth to all my delight               His haunting beauty can stir me so      As if I was hit by Cupid's bow             His cowboy's rebel lonely stance          Looks like it was brought forth from a past romance                                       He wanders through the desert's dune  To find new bounty ;to seek new boon He was once lost to the grains of sand  But now he lives on in the mystic's land
~The Desert Flower~
A Poem By Melissa Jean Charowsky
Does the desert flower fade or whither when grown in such harsh conditions                      No it survives to bloom with a greater beauty; more than man hast ever seen                       Though the flower continues to fight                                          No one knows it's trials of plight                                        It's beauty can survive this harsh weather for it knows NO defeat, just the will to live         A will to live on beyond that glistening sand dune ridge        To live and taste that monsoon of water that floods it                  And then to starve again till the next rain  Beauty can grow in an extreme                                  For it exists and lives on in that desert dream
