I got the promotion that night. Finally, I would begin doing contact dances. I was happy about this because I had worked hard for it.

I look at my hands. I know that I wasnt supposed to be happy about this because it wasnt right, but on the other hand, if I didnt have it, I wouldn't be here, talking to you about the only man that really cared for me and not just for my body.

M. Richards is looking at me with a look that only my father had given methe look of an older man, who cant believe that a young girl like me found this kind of job and lifestyle to be normal. I know that its not a typical job but it is a job. Your boss gives you the rules, you follow them and you get paid. Nothing different from a job in an officeexcept the clothes maybeWell, M Richards tells me to continue my story

When I woke up the next day, I hurried to get ready and went to the grocery store. It was about time, because my fridge was empty. I always loved grocery shoppingI know it sounds kind of weird but anywaysThat night, I would be alone at my place, so I grabbed a bag of pasta, tomatoes, pesto and cheese for my supper. I loved cooking too. I always loved anything to do with food. I was hurrying down the aisles, when I heard someone scream loudly behind me. I turned around quickly as if my life depended on it and burst out laughing. There was a young girl, who looked to be around fifteen, her mouth and eyes wide open, staring at the man in the aisle. The man was a very surprised Hayden who had his back pressed against the shelves along the aisle.

When they heard my laugh, they both looked in my direction. The girl's expression didnt change, but Haydens did. His eyes found mine and his generous plump lips spread into that famous smile. He walked in my direction, shaking his head in amusement.

I think you scared that poor girl. I giggled.

Oh yeah?! Damn it! I thought maybe she found me cute," he laughed in response.

He leaned in and I stood up on my tip toes. He was so tallHe gave me two kisses on my cheeks as I returned the gesture. He smelled so good. The way his skin mixed with the smell of his colognea pure joy for the nose! It was light and masculine. I almost felt a little bit disappointed when he pulled away from our hug.

Grocery time! He raised an eyebrow to my basket.

Yep. My fridge is more than empty. I replied.

Do you mind if I walk with you? I have to get some things for my mom," he asked. His glanceevery time he asked me something, I could see this same look in his piercing blue eyes. A deep and manly gaze with a hint of shyness. It was adorable.

I didnt know at that moment that I had already begun to fall for him. When I look back on it now, it was so obvious but when you are in something you dont see things as clearly or objectively. I was falling for him hard. His intimidating blue eyes were mesmerizing me.

We made the rounds around the last few aisles and made our way to the cash register. We passed in front of a magazine counter. I tapped on his shoulder as I noticed a few magazines with his face on the cover. I grabbed one of them and started to flip the pages. When I saw the article on him, I raised my head to look at him. He looked from to the magazine and back, his lips tightly closed in a smirk with a shy and embarrassed expression. I was doing it to tease him - I wasnt really even reading the article. I was looking at the pictures. I noted that he was much cuter in person without makeup and lighting effects and his eyes were bluer in person.

"Guys, you will see that I talk a lot about his eyes. The reason for this is simple: Everything about him- his feelings, his thoughts, his expressions, completely passed through his eyes.....and when he looks at you with them, you cant do anything other than just melt under his gaze. The color is totally beautiful but what you can see through them is absolutely breathtaking.

I put the magazine back at its place and went to the register line. Hayden was amazing. He always found something to say while we were waiting. He talked about himself a bit but he wanted to know about me too.

Me? I was surprised by his question. Well, nothing really. Im living alone in my apartment and my dad lives nearby. I lowered my eyes to my basket, avoiding his.

Are you close to your parents? he asked.

I bit my lower lip. I hated that kind of question. Usually, I was snapping something back but with him it wasnt the same. I couldnt act like a b*&$h with him. He leaned in his head to catch my glance and he did. I raised my head up as my glance was locked to his. I broke up the connection before I talked.

Well, I haven't spoken to my dad in about a week. My mom left when I was 9 and I haven't heard from her since.... I finished saying.

His shoulders seemed to fall as I finished my sentence. It was like he had a huge weight on his shoulders.

M, Im so sorry for asking, he replied. He turned his body to the side and I could hear him cursing himself under his breath.

Softly, I put my hand on his forearm to get his attention. When his eyes met mine, I smiled at him. Its ok. I dont care anymore. It still hurts but Im okay.

The embarrassment in his eyes seemed to diminished, but didn't disappear completely.

When my turn arrived at the register, he helped me put my groceries in bags. I waited for him as he paid for the items for his mom and we walked outside.

Are you okay to go to your house? he asked me as he lit a cigarette.

Yes, its not that far, I replied as I put my sunglasses on my nose.

HumYoure walking, right? he asked in a curious tone.

Yes.

Without another word, he grabbed three of my bags and began to walk in the opposite direction.

Hey! Where are you going with my bags?" I asked as I grabbed the other bags and tried to catch him.

He'd quickened his pace and I asked him to stop running.

Im not running, Im walking, he smiled.

I know but for me you are running. Youre taller than me and you walk faster than my legs can carry me so yes, you might as well be running! where the hell are you going anyway? I replied.

I am going to drive you home. You may not live far, but you have 7 bags with you. It will be better for you just to let me take you, he said, putting my bags in the back seat of his car.

I was about to say something when he and grabbed the bags that I was holding and put them on the back seat, not giving me time to protest. He unlocked the passenger door and walked around to the driver's side. I got in the car as he climbed in and started the engine.

Once we arrived at my place, he got out of the car to help me with my bags.

So I guess I'll see you tomorrow at Joshs? he asked, smiling.

I guess so. Thanks for the ride Hayden. I got up on my toes and kissed him on the cheek.

As I made my way to the front door, I turned back to notice Hayden watching me, waiting for me to go into my apartment and to make sure I got there safely.
