This text file describes how to install my missions and other add on
files from Wardogz or McCowan to your PC.

To save this text file, go to the upper left corner of your browser and select File,
Save as, and type in a path and file name of your choice...i.e. addonsetup.txt and
click ok
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After downloading mission files, unzip the contents of the file to your ..\did\f22adf\program
directory.

The 'default' path will look like:
c:\program files\did\f22adf\program...

I repeat, these files are to be unzipped (extracted) to the ADF "program" directory.

The zip sets contain the neccessary mission files already in their own sub directories.
By unzipping this file to your "program" directory, it will create new sub directories
and unzip the relative mission files to where they need to go.

Along with specific game file type directories, there are 2 mission type directories added
to the WarDogz.zip set with a second copy of the included missions in their own seperate
sub-directories. These new directories are "add on missions" and "add on multiplay". In
these 2 directories is where future add on missions should be copied to, in their own
uniguely named sub directories. This will allow you to have a permenant back up copy of
the mission files that will not be affected in the copying process of the add on managing
utilities AME or BAM, which I HIGHLY recommend you get and use. It is to these 2 directories
and the subsequent subdirectories for particular add on missions, that you should browse to
when looking for mission files to load.

For specific information on how to use the utilities please refer to the setup and usage
files for the utilities also on this site.

Just so you know, the game looks for the add_ons directory and the simultor.txt and
multipla.txt files therein. Loading new missions is now basically a search for either or
both of those .txt files for the mission you want to fly...AME and or BAM will search in
the same directory, find, and copy the necessary game files referred to in those txt files
into the appropriate folders for game play. The simultor or multipla.txt files MUST co-exist
with the other game files needed for a mission, for AME or BAM to load. This is why seperate
folders are REQUIRED for each mission or mission set as each will have it's own relative
"simultor.txt" or "multipla.txt" file.

After installing WarDogz.zip, a view of the directory tree structure will help you to
understand the organization. Therefore I suggest downloading my directory tree picture from
my site..."ADFtree.jpg" and refer to it for the proper placement of files and directories.
