You wanna have a good rp huh? Good, that's a good attitude. But you don't know how? Well let me teach you. Let's go over some things which spice up you rp and generally make it good. Now, one key thing to have is color. The code for color is "<" then "font" color then "=" then "color" then ">"(disgard ""'s when using it).

So if you want green it's < font color = green >(disgard spaces). This is for basic colors. If you want crazy mix colors, go to the HTML guide on the main page and follow the directions there. Another key thing is pictures. Now it depends how you can do this. You could take pictures of your wrestler which you created on a gaming system. OR; you can use pictures of a real wrestler who is similar to you. WWF has some pictures but really only of big stars. It's hard to find pictures of Essa Rios out there but keep looking! If such things as Billy Gunn fanpages exist than there's bound to be pages for everyone. These pics are generally good because they come in a wide variety of locations and actions. I prefer taking my own pics, but hey using real pics is effective too.

So, we'll start from beginning an rp. If you head to the ring which is basic, then a standard entrance is this. ::"(enter theme music of character)" plays and out comes (name of character). He does (whatever you want). He gets a mic and begins to talk::

That's standard. Of course you can spice it up however you want to. Another standard form can be an interview. To start it you can have the interviewer finding you or just have the interview start, but having him find you and something funny/scary happening is usually bettr. Now, we come to more advanced. Generally, you don't want to have promos always in the ring. So you can put them out of the ring. Clubs/Lockerroom is standard. Now, depending on your gimmick it can be somewhere else. Blader gimmick: skate park. Deadman gimmick: cemetery.

So now that we've gone over how to make the roleplay look pretty, lets look at how to make your roleplay GOOD. 1 key point; have it MAKE SENSE! I've seen people who come in and talk for 40 lines but it won't make sense; that doesn't work. Make sure it makes sense; it should have a easy flow to it where you go from one topic to another. Make sure there is order. Paragraphs is a definite. One big blop of lines is bad. PUNCTUATION! PLEASE! No punctuation is one of the most annoying rp's I've ever read! To make your rp god, realize one important fact; gimmicks are important. The gimmick is your attitude. So if your a heel, then you obviously have either a negative attitude or a gloating attitude. A face has an outgoing attitude and always positive to the fans. The gimmick determines how you talk. If your a gothic, then you generally talk with big large words. If your from the hood, them youz be prolly talkin like dis dawg. Know Who you are! Generally, adress your situation. Say what you think about the person who your dealing with, or the thing your dealing with; and make sure you stay in character when dealing with the issue. If your opponent has posted an rp than use that; make fun of things they've said or tell them their wrong and tell em what you think is right. Make it sound believable and good. What do I mean by good? Read your promo aloud if you have to; you can tell if it's bad if it sounds bad. And bad promos are a waste of time and effort; believe me on that.

There you have it, a short guide on how to make a good rp. And if you don't succeed on your first time, TRY TRY AGAIN. Look at other people's and see what their doing. But DON'T come into this fed thinking "I can be World Champion with no effort". This is a game but take pride in what your doing and put in effort. Take pride in your work and put in the nessecary time to post good rp's and frequent rp's. And if your still having trouble, I'm always available for TnT members.
