Another Victory....

Last week on TNT's PPV Entrapment, Jonny Fly proved once again that he is still the top man in the company. The reign has chugged on past half a year, with nobody, coming close to ending it. This poses the question, who will stop Jonny Fly? Who CAN stop Jonny Fly? Sean Segrada said he could, and the popular opinion was that he would. He failed. Two straight times. Crak Cokain said he could. He lost, then won, then lost again. Two out of three takes the cake. Jonny Fly takes the war. Even his one victory against Fly couldn't be counted as a "real" victory. Then next up to the plate was young Alexi Draconis. All the hype, all the talk. Draconis could do it, right? No. Wrong. He fell in line with the others. He lost. And then decided to be a little bitch about it afterwards. So it goes. 5 on 1 attacks aren't going to put you in that elite category Draconis strives for. Beating Jonny Fly will. So..try again.

"I will Never Die"

[Scene Opens]

The scene opens up back at the Mansion. We go into the living room of the building where we see Kent Strong sitting at a table, alone, burying his head in a stack of papers. From behind us TNT World Champion Jonny Fly enters the room and walks over to the table. He takes a seat next to Kent. Strong puts on his glasses to take a closer look at one of the papers he is holding. He takes off his glasses, and dejectedly sets the paper down on the table. He directs his glance to Fly. Fly looks back at him as Kent begins to speak.

[Kent Strong] That little stunt is gonna cost up close to four million dollars. I assume your not going to pay this, are you?
                                                                                                                                                                                         
 Fly lets out a small chuckle, looking away from Strong. He grabs the paper Kent was looking at and takes a brief look at it before placing it back on the table.       

[Jonny Fly] Four million is a bargain for blowing up half the city. Especially when a million of that went to my unnamed bomb technician. Man, that was a blast! Literally. Write the check and I'll sign it. 

Strong looks at Fly blankly for a second, then speaks again.

[Kent Strong] I don't know how you get away with half the shit you do. How do you fake your own death, and then get away with it? It boggles my mind. Seriously. Some of the shit you do man..

Fly lets out another small laugh. And then leans forward, as if being secretive about something.

[Jonny Fly] The trick is paying the coroner ahead of time. Paying him nicely too, if I may suggest. That way, your announced dead on the scene, and when they find out your not dead, you can't get arrested or whatever they do to people who fake death. It falls to him. 

[Kent Strong] Does that really work? And how did you know that you were going to live through it? Your not telling me something here.

Fly smiles and then gets up from his seat. He walks around the room once as if thinking of something. He returns to the table and sets his arm on Kent Strong's shoulder.

[Jonny Fly] You know Kent, you've always been the one person who's been there for me. The one person who's always listened to me, no matter how egotistical or full of crap I've been. I'm telling you man I can't be killed. I can't die. Think about it. How does a 12 year survive on the streets? He'd get torn apart. You can't hide for seven years. One day there's gonna be a confrontation. And I had many. But unlike most, I live to tell about it. Ray Jenkings couldn't kill me! My wars with the police in the Gravedigger days? Never was touched. Being chased after by Loan Sharks for three months which ended in a gun war? Still kicking baby! People need to face it. If twenty people with dead aim on me can't kill me, nobody can kill me. I'm untouchable. I'm practically..godly. I'll say it again: I will never die!

Fly lets out another grin. He begins to walk out of the room..asking on his way..

[Jonny Fly] You want something to drink?

[Kent Strong ] I could go for a Coke. 

Fly nods and walks out of the room. Kent sets down another piece of paper after reviewing it, and follows Jonny out into the kitchen. When we get in there Jonny is bent over digging into the refrigerator. He reappears from behind it carrying two cokes in his hand. He tosses one over to Kent and opens his own. Strong follows suit. 

[Kent Strong] Pretty good match this week. Not bad for a man who was away for most of the month. However it was closer than it needs to be. You used to be a lot better, and I know you don't want to hear that. But when people say you slipped, you have. A little. Fact is you where so far ahead of them, that even with a little drop off your still better than anyone. 

[Jonny Fly] The people who say that shit are just looking for something to say. Something to throw out their at me. But then I face them in a match, and destroy them. When you've been as good as I've been for so long things become boring for you. Staying on top is boring. Getting there is exciting as fuck. Best time of my career. That's where you see the slip. There's a lack of motivation hanging over your head. And sometimes, it get's foggy..you know what I mean? Sometimes that cloud drops on you. It's got me once or twice. Some time ago against Jeremiah Swinger was the best example of it. Doesn't matter. Still World Champion, still the man around TNT Wrestling. That's what matters. 

Fly takes a sip of his drink. Kent does as well. Strong continues

[Kent Strong] I know man. And really, the way you wrestled last week will get you through pretty much all your matches. But what happened to domination? Single handedly crushing each and every opponent. You used to call your reign here in TNT the Era of Dominance. Certainly these last two months against Crak and Alexi have not been that! That's not what you used to do. That's not how you wrestled against Edwards, Totopoulous, Segrada, and Boss! 

[Kent Strong] Those two men may become legends like them, but there not right now. And for that, you have crushed them, knocked them out of the company. But yet, you barely squeak out wins. Your now looking at a five on one. The Titans versus Jonny Fly. You don't have a chance in hell! That is, unless you bring back that old fire. Then, you stand a chance. You'd stand a change against any one man or group.

[Jonny Fly] I'm not really worried about the Titans. I don't want you to worry though Kent. I'll step it up. If you think I'm lacking, then I'll stop. I'll work harder to cement my position on top. If that's what you say man, I'll do it. You've never let me down. But really, I need a challenge. I can work as hard as I want Kent, but who's gonna be my opposition the other side of the ring? 

[Jonny Fly] I've beaten everyone. I need a reason to step it up. I know I can pull together one of those performances of not too long ago. Those matches against Nic, and Boss. I can do that again. But nobody's forcing me to. 

[Kent Strong] You got five people chasing you ass. At any time they can strike. You got beat up last week. A PPV went off the air with Jonny Fly laying on his back. Out cold. Since when do you let that happen? Since when does anyone get over on you at a PPV? Those are your shows, your time, your stage. You dominant those shows! That's when you've always stepped up. But not this time. It'll happen again. They'll make you their little bitch, Jonny. That's why you need to step it up. 

Fly begins to get a little angry. He finishes his coke and then crushes it with his hand.

[Jonny Fly]  Bitch? Jonny Fly someone's bitch? Do you even realize what your even saying. Their leader is Draconis. I just got done fucking him up. Their jealous. So they attacked me. It happens. Especially when your as big a target as me. This isn't a sign of things to come! You better bet on some payback. Big time. I'm Jonny Fly dammit. You don't fuck with Jonny Fly.

[Kent Strong] I wait for proof, because at the PPV, you didn't prove shit. You beat Draconis. It should be expected. You needn't be happy about that. Tougher tasks may ensue. And that's The Titans. One way or the other, you need to get rid of them. Monopolize TNT like you did before. You catching my drift? Force them out..like we did to all those big stars back then..you know what I'm talking about. Bring it back.

[Jonny Fly] Easier said than done. I'm done worrying about things I can't control though. If they want to attack me, watch what happens. There doing it at their own discretion now. That one last week, nothing. Next time, it fucking war. And of course, I'll always win. Ask the Ridder boys. You don't lose a war when you can't be killed. I need to focus on Prankster this week. Not them. I got the World Title on the line.

[Kent Strong] You know if you lose this match, your reign is as good as over. You cannot lose this. Prankster is going to come out pumped. I know you know how to handle that, how to reverse the momentum. I'm just telling you to be careful. Prankster knows how to get it done. This could very easily be a trap match for you. Just coming off a win, looking ahead to the next big event and totally forgetting about Prankster. Wake up next day, you don't have the World Title anymore.

[Jonny Fly] I know how to handle this. I'm going to make a statement with this match. Prankster is the only guy on the roster who can say that he has more experience than me. However, in the type of match were going to be in, I hold the experience over him. Prank is the one man who's TNT history goes back farther longer than my own. And so I shall destroy it. Give Prankster nothing to fight for. To put the fucker out of his misery. He won't touch the World Title. There will be no upset here. This is going to go down as normal. Jonny Fly winning and defending. 

Then, not only am I the biggest name, I become TNT's last link to the company's history. I become the longest tenured. That shows supreme domination. That I could stay on top through all the different stages of TNT's lifetime. That I could survive from the days of Terror X, through Unforgettable Power and The Dynasty, to the Titans. That I have beaten people from every generation of this company. May pale in comparison to my other accomplishments, but it is, yet another thing to add to my glorious résumé. Beating people from the old TNT, to the new TNT. To Jonny's TNT. Gives a little momentum. Prankster is TNT's grandfather. The older member. Now it's time to put him to rest.

[Kent Strong] I take it you weren't adding Bucky to that?

[Jonny Fly] Oh hell no. He's gone next week. Don't even care.

[Kent Strong] I gotta get back to work. What are you going to do about this new TNT contract?

[Jonny Fly] What's the figures again?

[Kent Strong] 5 million per, plus a prorated portion of revenue from TNT made products. Seeing that yours are the big money makers.

[Jonny Fly] You know how the fans are. They love me. But how can I turn down that offer? Sign it..

Fly and Strong split up. Kent going back into the living room to continue his work and Fly heading for his personal gym.

[Scene Closes]
