A New Beginning.... On December 6th, 2007, Jonny Fly re-purchased TnT Wrestling from then owner Nic Hay. Upon doing so Fly promptly announced that the company would be re-opening during the new year. Soon after Fly secured a television contract for TnT's flagship show, Sunday Night Mayhem. Fly has even hand picked his new staff and set them up in their offices at TnT Towers, the long-time home of TnT Wrestling's operations. Therefore, there's only one thing left for the man who's name is synonymous with TnT Wrestling...a return to Television. "Hello, TnT" [Scene Begins] The scene fades in, in the new TnT Towers Corporate Building. We are on the top floor of the 15 story building, and have entered the office of the new owner of TnT Wrestling, Jonny Fly. Fly is seen sitting down behind his desk, above him on the wall is a large plaque commemorating all the members of the TnT Hall of Fame, and in front of him on the desk is a large stack of papers to the left, and a nameplate reading simply "Jonny Fly." Other than that, the desk is clear. The rest of the office is almost as empty as the desk, featuring only one large file cabinet easily in Jonny's reach to the right, and a few commemorative belts framed on the walls. Fly spots the camera crew moving into place, and begins to speak into it. Jonny Fly: Hello, TnT. Fly flashes his trademark smirk, and continues. It seems that we've been here before, haven't we? TnT goes under, or starts to slip, and guess who is there? For those of you who haven't heard, and are wondering what I'm talking about..the second owner in TnT history..has now become the fifth owner in TnT history. Gone is the Indy scene, the gymnasium shows, and the small crowds. I mean come on, Jonny Fly wrestling in a gym? It never did satisfy my crave for attention. That's right, you really didn't think I was going to change, did you? I'm here to tell you that things are going to be the same they were last time, when I took this company to the highest peak it has ever achieved. We're going to be entertaining, consistent, controversial, and above all..fair. However, I'm not afraid to make major shake-ups if it's for the best of this company, this will never be a democracy. I fired Stonehart last time I had this desk, even though he was World Champion, and the same will hold true for the rest of you. I'm going to do whatever is best for the show, and that's my main concern. Individuals come in second. Why? Let's not even act like I'm friends with any of you. There's no such thing in this business. I'm also here to confirm the rumors you have already heard. The first show in the re-launching of TnT Wrestling is going to be a Battle Royal. The winner of the rumble becomes the new TnT World Champion, and the runner-up becomes the Eurasian Title, a trademark of TnT. Oh, and yes, Corwin Havens will go into the Rumble as the defending World Champ, and will enter the Rumble last. No, this is not because I have respect for him either, it's simply a contractual right Havens has. Nic Hay, in hopes of re-launching the company himself, never relinquished the contracts of any of his wrestlers, meaning..I have to inherit Havens as my World Champion. However.. Not all is lost. There is something I can do about this. Corwin.. Fly begins speaking to one of his long time nemesis. As World Champion, it is your right to enter the Rumble last. But guess who is going to enter one minute before you? Guess who's going to be in the ring waiting when you show your face for the first time on the brand new TnT Wrestling? Me! Fly pauses for a moment, staring into the camera..before continuing. Take these new guys down memory road for me, Corwin. Tell them, what your obviously avoiding. All they hear is you talk about what you "did" to me. All they hear is what you say your going to "do" to me. Tell them, that this has already played out..and then tell them who won. Tell them who is better. Tell them....how old your daughter would be... Fly smirks. We played by your rules Corwin. In the sickest match ever aired under a TnT logo, the Devil Himself lost. Not only did he lose, he lost to a suit, a cocky punk, a politician, whatever you want to call me. Isn't is you..that was shown the light? I've been in this business over six years now. Long gone are the days of "The Kid Wonder" the crazy 19 year old kid that took over the UWA in weeks. I'm now the most decorated wrestler in the history of this business, and now a two-time owner of the one of the premier names in wrestling. Face it Corwin, there's no destroying me now. My name will live on as long as people are lacing their boots and competing on a square canvas..and so will my company. Fly switches topics, now to address the rest of TnT. Now, TnT, don't be discouraged. I have no desires of winning any title at the Royal Rumble. I'm only there to make sure that the World Title changes hands, so we can finally wash ourselves from Corwin Havens. I want to thank you all for signing on to wrestle for me. I promise it will be a decision that will propel your career to unknown heights. TnT Wrestling is a beacon of world class wrestling...and controversy, interestingly enough. Both characteristics you will find useful, in making yourself a household name. *Your first show, the Royal Rumble, is scheduled for February 10th.* You are required to make a promotional appearance on TnT Television in order to guarantee your spot at the event. Best of luck! With that, Fly waves to the camera crew that he is done. He gets up from his spot behind the desk, and walks out of the office. [Scene Ends]
