But of course.... In what will be remembered as one of the best matches in the last year, truly "A Night to Remember." At the show Jonny Fly vanquished the evil that is Corwin Havens. Right? Not so fast. It's likely that both men will not be fully recovered from the match for months, but the match solved nothing, in essence. Fly won, picked up another Eurasian Title, but that was beside the point. Havens is said to be even more pissed, and Fly has yet to succeed in ridding TnT Wrestling of the man that vows to destroy it. "Flawed Thinking" [Scene Opens] The scene opens in the living room of the Jonny Fly Mansion, in New York, New York. Newly crowned TnT Eurasian Champion is seen lounging on his sofa watching TV. As we get closer the sound of the TV is heard.. "..and the gazelles were dancing on my chest.." Fly, noticing the camera, switches off the TV. He gets up from his lounging position on the couch, grimacing in pain as he moves his busted knee. He now sits up on the sofa and directs the cameraman to sit down across from him. Fly begins to speak to the camera. Jonny Fly: You know, I could go on and on about how I told Corwin he was overmatched. I could go on and on about how I made Corwin cry out words you'll never see a man like me utter to stop the pain I was taking him through. I could.. But that's just not fitting, under these circumstances.. ..for the most part. Fly lets out a small laugh. Maybe a couple years ago I'd sit here and talk shit on Corwin's performance until I felt everyone knew how much of a pushover he is. How they shouldn't be afraid of that hack. But those times are gone, and through a couple of humbling experiences in my life, I realize that may not be the best route to take following a match as hellacious, and as brutal as I've ever been in. That's saying something too, because I've been in all the classics TNT has put out over it's history. But..I will not show him any sort of respect. Why? Not because I "hate" him. No, no, and it's surely not because I'm afraid of having to eat my words later this month, or at any point in the future. I will not show Corwin any respect because that match is what he wanted. Corwin didn't give a fuck about that title, he made his mark on it and was done with it. Personally, it's nothing to me, however, it is nice to see it fixed up and respectable again. Corwin wanted to work me up, and get me so pissed off that we could turn out match into a fuckin' street fight. And I let him. I told him I knew it was coming. I allowed him to turn the match into a street brawl. Some may consider that a dumb move against someone as "crazy" as Corwin, but was it? Didn't I say last week I realized it would happen? Corwin's plan may very well be to chip away at me, he's got the knee limber, and maybe next time he works on my neck, or back, a little. You follow? Eventually, he may figure, the pillar that TNT leans on will crack, and he'll be able to roam free. However, that's flawed thinking. Corwin's hurting even more than me right now. I gave him everything he gave to me, with emphasis. Only one of us showed that quitting was an option, only one of us showed there was a limit to the pain we would take for our cause. Corwin has a limit, Jonny Fly does not. And unfortunately for him, I will take him to that limit..every...time. Corwin, your weak. Taking down this company, and taking down Jonny Fly are both out of your league. Write it down everyone. Now.. I've tried to figure you out, Corwin, but it's impossible. I'm sure that's what you want, so I congratulate you on that. I hear you say what's driving you, but, it's hollow in substance. Your method to try get me out of your hair has the ultimate flaw in it. Again, here we go with your flaws. Your trying to eliminate a man that is stronger in every facet than you are. You must realize this after last week, so I'm not sure why you press the issue. You know I'm going to be in your way every where you step, don't you? I'm not just going to fade back off into the sunset, no no, I'm going to be here punching you in the mouth for every false step you make. Why not just quit Corwin? Come on, you already did once, now people just expect it from you. No big deal. But your not.. Hence..my confusion. Your goals here are to destroy TnT, and you realize you need to, in essence, destroy me, to do that. I just told you that trying to chip away at me won't work, because I'm hurting you worse than you are me when we get in that ring. So how are you going to do this Corwin? Are you going to try to outsmart me somehow? Honestly, good luck, people, in your position, who realize they will not achieve what they're trying to do against me in the ring, have been known to go to those measures..but again, doesn't work. I really don't know what your going to do. Your trying to take down TnT, but the guy you have to get through to do that has as much pride in that company as anyone, not to mention, he's arguably the greatest wrestler to grace one of their rings. And you..your taking your fight against him to the ring, and you've already lost once..in your own little street fight. Your time's running out Corwin. It may not be this tag match. It may not even be after that. But I will get rid of you. It's only a matter of time now You were warned, if you remember. "Your just another in a long line, Havens." [Scene Closes]
