-Begin Scene- The scene fades in, at the Jonny Fly Mansion. We pan to the living room, where the camera's have already been set up. We spot Cole Mathews sitting in one of Fly's plush white love seats, and spot Fly just across from him, in a similar chair. Someone yells "were on the air" and the scene begins. CM: Ladies and Gentleman, I'm here with the man we've all been waiting to hear from. 5 Time TNT World Champion, and Hall of Famer, Jonny Fly. Jonny, I can't thank you enough for allowing us to do this. JF: I'm happy to have this opportunity to speak. Fly, usually always brash, seems more laid back now. As we maybe should expect of a man who's career and success was a fake, who just had a run-in with Robert Burke, and who lost his first match back to..Behemoth. I gotta start with what everyone else is asking. Why did you do it? Your being called a "sell out" by the wrestling world. It seems they found the one word harsher than "fake" and have planted it on you. Nobody argues that your still talented, your still young, and you still have the in-ring knowledge it takes to be successful. But right now, your a nobody anymore. It surely wasn't worth it, was it? I was young, man. You put 9 out of 10 men in the same situation I was in, and they do the same thing as me. 9 out of 10, and that figure would include the same people who like to throw "harsh" adjectives in front of my name. What really hurts is, I thought it was all real. It wasn't like I made the deal with Robert, and bam, sudden fame. It was a process, it was probably almost a year later before I even got my try-out. The memory of my deal with him had faded with the time. I thought it was me, I thought that I had done it all..and then..it was just ripped out from under me. Why did you give in to Burke? Why did you let him take you away from wrestling? Surely, and I don't want to get into details here, but let's just say your surely had the backing to fight him off..right? But why should I have? I mean, for what point or purpose..at that time? Why risk more life, for my mistakes? Listen, I had nothing. It was gone. Why fight, for nothing? I had nothing to win, I was already a laughingstock. I'm not going to put friends, or myself, in the line of fire just for the right to come out and be laughed at, spit on, looked down upon. Fuck that. I made a deal, I took the heat. Luckily, I still had some friends in the world who wanted to see me back here. Now, after hearing this, I'm confused. Your back in wrestling now.. Fly looks down before answering the question. Yes I am. Hardly by my own choice, but my friends are right. You, Cole, are right. I'm still young, I still know my way around the ring, I can still pull of my moves. My finisher is still the finest around. I can compete, and if I can compete, I need to be out there. I need to start over. Right now, I'm a rookie once again, and I'm going to work my ass off to get back to the level that my name is associated with. What happened last week? Fly picks his head back up to answer the question. What happened was the real Jonny Fly. Despite the fact that the man I faced is a nobody, he was big, too big, he was physical, too physical, and he didn't make my two counts into three counts for money. It just shows the work I have to do to make it back to the top. I tip my hat to everyone and all who beat me, but I'm telling everyone know, don't get too ahead of yourself, I'm not done, yet. Any clue what it's going to take? Work, Cole, a whole fucking lot of work. I'm going to have grow some thick skin. It used to be when someone would try to rip at me, I'd be able to throw 5 World titles in their face and they would go sulk in a corner. That's not going to work anymore. I'm going to get it from all angles here, and I'm going to have to take it, and keep on plugging. I gotta stay focused on the prize. Your "friends," will they be they're with you? Every step. I owe them the career I'm beginning to rebuild, and they'll be damned if they don't have the front row seat as it happens. You've gone through so much lately, and really, your entire career. You seem to know have become humbled. However, that may not be what TNT needs right now. You've surely heard about the recent problems in the company. Can you, or will you, Jonny Fly, step in to fix that? Me? No. In fact, I think the company has recovered on it's own. The new guys that were brought in seem to have their shit together. TNT is a very elastic company. They can adjust to most everything. The people who thought the company would die after the latest turnover obviously haven't had their eyes open the last two years. However, it's not coincidence that the people who were saying our doors were about to close, were the ones that had their fingers crossed for two weeks that we would. Pretty pathetic, right? Especially saying it in public. Kind of makes you look like a dumbass. One last thing. What do you feel about this quote, made by Eric Baxter.."One you do that, I'll throw the exclamation point on and prove why I am TNT's greatest legend alive." Fly looks down once again. As is well documented through the years, World titles were not enough for Fly. The Hall of Fame, not enough. The goal was to always be the best wrestler that walks the earth.. Well, he's right. You gotta give it to the man, he's World Champ, and if you want to argue that he's not the greatest wrestler alive, you'd better fuckin' beat him first. I'm proud to be a part of his "Circle of Five," deservingly, or not, but right now, he's the centerpiece. He's deserves that recognition. Jonny, we can't thank you enough for the time. I speak for everyone around TNT when I wish you the best of luck in whatever is next for you, and most of all, welcome back to TNT. Thanks Cole, I really appreciate that. With that, the scene from the Jonny Fly Mansion goes to black. -End Scene- Former World Tag Team Champion(2x)
Former Eurasian Champion
Former World Champion (5x)
..Perfection..
