Double Duty

"The Dynasty Way"

Begin Narrator

Narrator:

It's only getting deeper.

That's what has filtered into the brain of the TNT Owner. Between his troubles, and the troubles surrounding friend, and partner, Nicky Mills, that's becoming a way of life. Not only is some snoopy detective out a New York office that Fly has too much history with, investigating the First Ballot Hall of Famer, but Fly also now has to use his resources to help Mills knock out an entire "Family."

Double Duty, indeed.

The last time we seen Fly he had gone to the Marriott Hotel in New York City, his hometown, and there was confronted by a Police Detective who supposedly knows about the Ridder Saga. The Detective asked Fly pointed questions, off the record, just to see if he would slip. Not my Jonny! Fly is a pro at manipulation. He's been forced to use the skill on occasions frequently. He'll once again need to manipulate the cities investigators..

However, the task will be daunting.

14 men, who have a confirmed connection with Fly were found dead in front of Fly's arena. Defiantly suspicious. There's not a lot you can do to talk your way out of that one. However, this is Jonny Fly, and he's already begun his case. He questions, instead, why 14 men who would have good reason for revenge were allowed to be tailing him across the country. Whether or not a bit of that is true, it's still a shot at the Police Department in both states. Knowing Fly, they'll be wary to piss him off. If he goes public with something like that..

Chaos.

And what are we to make of this Nicky Mills case? Mills's brother is dead? A Dynasty member in trouble? That can't happen. Ask any former Dynasty member, if there's one thing they all agree on, no matter their current relations to the group, they know they have each others back. This isn't the jealously filled groups such as The High Rollers who just use each other for the World Title. This is the Dynasty. The longest lasting and most successful stable in history. There's a reason they've lasted this long, and there's a reason why the others crumble up, or die, after short runs. The Titans, and The High Rollers, after this week, will be great examples of such.

There was no hesitation on Fly's part to help out Mills. That's what the Dynasty is all about. But just how far can a man who's already in trouble with the police, go to help out in illegal activities? We'll have to wait for the next airing of a Mills promo to find out. Then, then people will see what The Dynasty is all about. They'll see that no matter what, Fly has Mills's back, and Mills returns the favor. There will be no fights over the World Title in this group..which already gives them a clear advantage on the "unnamed" competition.

Which brings me to Fly's other obligations this week. Mayhem, and the new show, Glory. Fly will face Rollin' Thunder, and Jimmy Vetalo with a partner, in that order, in his first action in quite some time. No to mention, back to back shows, for the first time in ages. By request, Fly will be facing Thunder in a Mall America match to main event Glory. By order, Jimmy Vetalo and a partner that he can find, will have to take on the team of Jonny Fly and Nicky Mills.

Words have already been exchanged.

However, none of that will mean shit. What will, is Fly's dominance over both of the prominent High Roller members. Those two live in a fantasy world, and no matter what the outcome the previous week, will still throw week jabs at you. Trash Talking is their life, however, when matched against Fly, they have nothing. They have already allowed Fly, the master manipulator, the opportunity to set them straight.

And Fly is known for having creative way's to get his message through to the hard headed Thunder and Vetalo.

However, the most effective, is in the ring. I don't see a chance in hell that these two pull of wins against Fly. He's too good, every time. Rollin' Thunder beating Jonny Fly one on one would be like Markus Jayson beating Michael Edwards. Thunder gets embarrassed every time, and comes back for more. He's the only person how thinks he's half as good as he tries to play himself up as. This isn't anything to be proud of.

 There's no glory in losing.

And Derek, your going to lose.

So is your little friend..

Begin Scene

A rash of video's with people talking begin. First up, Kent Strong.

Kent Strong:

We here in TNT Wrestling are becoming increasingly worried about the intelligence of our wrestlers. In particular, Rollin' Thunder and Jimmy Vetalo. These man use faulty information and made up stats in their promos in a sad attempt at a shoot on opposing wrestlers. We've noticed that a majority of wrestlers "laugh" when watching on them on television, not because they have a messed up noses or something, simply because the things they say can be legally considered "of mentally disabled nature". Also, even more concerning, is the fact that they actually seem to believe what they say is true. For example, the "fact" that they "beat" Jonny Fly. I have looked and looked, and have no record of such.

We worried hallucinations may be taking hold, as well. Possibly even a second personality. One would be the "bullshit wrestler" High Roller Member, and the other would be the "bullshit businessperson" persona. We brought in some doctors to try to find out the causes for such things and secretly had them running test of the two guinea pigs during their last physical. The doctors seem to believe that the fact that THEY'RE ALWAYS ON THE CELL PHONE WITH EACH OTHER, may be starting to cause psychological damage, and the aforementioned mental retardation state. The TNT Roster is in tears, upset, over the fact that their resident whipping boy's may soon be forced into an asylum.

Sad.

The Screen changes and a different video comes onto the screen. This time, it's Stonehart on the camera.

Stonehart:

I just wanted to share this with people I consider to be friends of mine, the fans of TNT Wrestling. I believe I have..a duty..as a person..as an individual, to report some of the things I seen during my unfortunate stay within the High Roller Organization.

I remember last month when Derek came to Mayhem with his hair in corn rows. Well, Jimmy spent about three hours before the show braiding Derek's hair. It was all done up with cute little bows and ribbons, the works, naturally they took the bows out before coming on TV, but that was really the first time I started to think something was seriously wrong with those two. But it defiantly wasn't the last..

You see..

It was a cold Sunday night, probably around the start of November. I was waiting for Rollin' and JR to pick me up in their Dodge Shadow when I received a cell phone call, of course, from Jimmy Vetalo. He told me that Derek was running late and they would be around to give me a ride in about ten minuets. So, about 2 minutes goes by and Derek, undressed, comes around the corner running and screaming "HELP." Naturally, as always, he runs behind me as a group of 7 other undressed men come around the corner as well. When I asked what was the problem they pointed to Derek and said "He poked me in the wrong hole."

Then came the fateful night of November 14th. This is what really set Reed and us off. We were at the airport waiting for JR and Derek when the grossest sight walked in front of our eyes. It was Jimmy, wearing a white tee-shirt and an inflatable duck float around his hips, lipstick, and flower tattoos all over his body. Naturally, I asked him if had lost a bet to Derek. For a big Italian dude, he just kinda looked at me strangely, and answered "no." He then went on to further explain that he wasn't at the show, so he was allowed to dress normal and show his true self. Reed and I were sure right then, that if that's was "there" true self, it was time to abort.

Luckily for us, they turned. We didn't even have to be the aggressors, or look bad or jealous or whatever. They did it for us.

The camera switches again, this time to Mike Wilson.

Mike Wilson:

As you know, I really just plain hate The High Rollers.

However, Rian Callaway is a different story. I'm not much of a fan of the Fly-Strong management, and thought that Callaway would be a good person as a change of pace to their policies that pretty much help, only themselves. However, I was dead wrong.

I was fuming one night after a match. I was pacing the halls saying to myself you know, I could of done much better, and I was much better than that. A guy like me shouldn't lose too often, ya know? But then I heard this crazy noise coming from one of the locker rooms. It was like a little kid's laughs, mixed with the little "Maaahhh" sound that goat will make when it's..you know..So, naturally, I took a peek inside the locker room.

I was shocked. It was Callaway, with Rollin' and Jimmy, a goat, and this little red head kid. The kid had his pants off, the goat was humping Derek's leg, Jimmy was holding a microscope towards the kids..region..and Callaway was in the back laughing and taking notes. I was appalled, I immediate ran to the nearest trash can and threw up seemingly for about a half an hour. Nevertheless, they still wrestled on the show. I'm a bit hesitant to get in the ring with them anymore, ya know? Not to mention, their under me anyway.

Scene switches, Xander Kross now appears.

Xander Kross:

When I came into TNT I had heard about some "weird" stuff that went on between The High Rollers. However, most of them, in fact, all of them, were only between Rollin' Thunder and Jimmy Vetalo.

So, one night I was walking the halls early before one of my first mayhems. I seen the craziest thing ever. It was Derek, and Jimmy, without shirts on, and fire hoses wrapped around their midsection. They then tied the lose ends of each hose to each other and tried to see who could pull the other one to the ground. I swear to god they went at this trying to run away from each other for like a half an hour. Finally, sweaty, and tired, they stopped. I was quick to approach them. I asked them what they were doing. Their response? Were training to be firemen, so we can slide up and down those poles, like Spring Thomas!

I was completely stunned, to say the least. They proceeded to take of the hoses, slap each other on the ass, and then walked away toward their locker room, where god knows what happened. All I know is, to this day, I'd still like to hang each of them with them damn hoses!

The final video comes to a close. We switch now to Fly.

End Scene

Begin Voiceover

Jonny Fly talks into a blank screen.

Jonny Fly:

Rollin' Thunder.

Are you delusional, or just retarded?

You ARE still going to lose, and you ARE still inferior. You can't throw enough titles my way to change that fact. Wanna play a game? I have 5 World Titles, and I've beat you multiple times head to head. That's the game..

I just won.

I don't care who've you beaten, you haven't beat men, that's all that counts. And what is this bullshit about "waiting to face me." You ARE retarded, aren't you? Do you realize how many times we have faced since you came here? You haven't been waiting, because it's happened! You just lost, so therefore, like you and Jimmy always do, you act like it never happened. So let me help you rephrase that.

"I've waited over a year and a half to BEAT Jonny Fly."

There, see, was it that hard to tell the truth? Your so focused on trying to put me down that you scorch reality. The reality is, when next to me, your crap, your shit, your..inferior. There's that word again. And your going to go another year with that same reality. You've waited over a year, and you'll be waiting longer. I'm Jonny Fly. Your Rollin' Thunder.

The difference will be shown on Friday.

You have no hope Rollin'. You guys actually, in those minds, think you are the saviors of this company. Please, don't. I moved aside to let the High Rollers form. I let you have your fun. I could of easily squashed you guys before you formed. Easily..Read the Name Tag. I'm the best..ever. Now all of a sudden you guys saved the company? Let it be known, that I've been in management here longer than you've wrestled here.

Let it be known that it's been my feuds, or storylines, in times of crisis, that have got this company back on track several times before. The High Rollers HAVE to feed off management. We book your matches, dammit! No, don't take credit for what's not yours. Unlike you guys, I don't have to wrestle to make an impact on this company. I don't have to wrestle to bring this company back from the dead..like I did! Your job is to wrestle, that's what I pay you to do. That's all you've ever done. That's not heroic, that's not a savior. That's doing your job. I restocked this company, I brought in the competition that is pushing you aside, hell, I brought you back from the dead.

You were done, Rollin'. Just like you would of been if Kent hadn't come along. No company wants your baggage. UWA wouldn't take you back. If you left TNT, you'd be history. Your career would be over. Your legacy, doesn't exist, and I know I wouldn't miss you. I have tons of people who contact me every day for a job. You'd be unrooted, and replaced. You'd be working Indy cards for 100 dollar bills a pop. I don't need you, Rollin', I don't inferior people. You need TNT, and TNT needs Jonny Fly. We've proven that. Where would we be if Kent and I hadn't taken over? How would that inter-fed series have gone? You'd of probably been fucked over by Rose because whoever was running this place wasn't smart enough to get out.

I shape your legacy Rollin.

When you realize that, our relations will be better. Stop worrying about "my shadow" and focus on your career. Nobody will ever call you "the best ever" except for yourself. It's time to stop the hallucinations, the kiddy dreams, and face reality square in the face. That title has already been grabbed. I passed your years of work in two weeks in the UWA, and you've been chasing me ever since. The lead I have built is insurmountable. You can beat me every week for an entire year, and 3 out of 4 people will still say I'm better. You don't have to believe it, everyone knows it though. One won't won't erase two plus years of history. History that marks you as an also-ran, while me, as a Hall of Famer.

You can't change history.

When are you going to make the connection? Most people call you lucky to have what you do have under your belt, and your worried about getting out of my shadow? Your not that good, kid. You don't have enough under your belt to EVER challenge me. I'm like a God, and your like peasant. Is it clicking yet? My stable is historically dominant, yours is historically unstable? Is it clicking? I own this company, your my employee, is it clicking? I have OWNED you in competitor, is it clicking?

If not, your damn clicker is broke. '

It can't be laid out any better.

You have nothing on me. You have no right to say anything, it's all meaningless bullshit. I will never die. The Dynasty will never die, if I never die. You don't have the resources to run me out of here. Therefore, your stuck working for both. Or you can try UWA, I hear their hiring these days. Hell, I'm sure they would love to get their hands on anyone from our roster, you seen how they played up Bucky, right? People are don listening to you Rollin'. You've been placed on the "ignore list." You have yet to even scrape the truths in this match.

Sad.

It hasn't changed the outcome before.

It won't, again.

Jimmy Vetalo.

Get your hands of Derek and listen up for a second.

First things first, "giving you the ball." Is that all I did, is that all I'm gonna get credit for here? No, no. I moved aside, I set up your feuds, I booked you matches, I gave you title shots. Like I told Derek, all you had to do was..your job. Wrestle. I gave you the ball, blocked, and painted the end-zone right in front of your face. If you don't see that, get glasses. A wrestler isn't anything without a competent management, and I am management.

I would like to also ask you about your accusations of empty threats. But, just to prove my case here, let's rewind. It was about 5 months ago that a match was booked consisting of Mark Vincent and Jonny Fly against the Tag Team Champions, Jimmy Vetalo and Rollin' Thunder. I told you both everytime I went on television that we were going to win, and we did! Hey! That doesn't sound much like an empty threat, but I'm sure if I went back into the tape room I could find a TON of empty threats from you that week.

So..go ahead and shut it Vetalo.

Strike 1.

Second off, you don't dictate anything. You are one person with a big mouth who suffers from a loss of reality. Hey Jimmy, what's your record over the last two months? Yea, Enter Excuse here. Fans don't like you. You don't interest them. Rollin' Thunder and Jimmy Vetalo are not "fresh characters." You suffer from the inability to reinvent yourself. I've been able to get into stories, feuds, and angles that have kept my name fresh, while continually changing myself on the fly..I've mastered the art, your still saying the same things you were a year ago.

That's boring.

Strike 2.

Don't talk about Mark Vincent. "What makes you think that even if he did come back to wrestling hed want to be anywhere around you. Youre the man who put him in that condition due to your little run in with the Ridder's." That's out of your league, Jimmy. Don't even touch that topic. Don't make life worse for yourself. Mark Vincent and I grew up in this business. Mark Vincent is my best friend. When everyone else bailed on me because of their jealous little ploys, he stuck with me, and we stuck it to the deserters. Rollin' Thunder and Jimmy Vetalo. Kinda reminds me of the PPV doesn't it. Maybe history repeats itself after all.

There will be a day Mark Vincent steps back into this company. You hear that? Let that sink in. And it will be with Jonny Fly at his side, and you know damn well, you could the entire company behind you, and we'd still win. You KNOW that. Don't play with the fire just because it's stagnant at this point in time, for when it comes back, it will take you out. Don't start a war or personal lives here, Jimmy. Your High Roller friends may be pulling you out of a meat grinder if you choose that path..

That's a threat, and the sumbitch hasn't even heard of the word..

Empty.

I wanna also set you straight on something. The names I listed were not people I expect you to be scared of. Scared doesn't mean shit. You think people are scared of Rollin' Thunder and Jimmy Vetalo? Haha..no way. They don't have to scare you, but they WILL beat you. Cundiff has, X-Kal would, Segrada defiantly would, Mills has in the past, Vincent has. And since were being honest, did Rollin' ACTUALLY beat X-Kalibur and Segrada? No. Stop the propaganda, I know the history of this company, you can't fool me. Segrada and X-Kal threw the match..notice how they went on leave of absences at the conclusion of the match. You'll also note that Segrada HAS beaten Rollin' Thunder.

Yes, he has.

It means nothing, though, really. A country in this world will only be as good as it's leader. The Dynasty has "The Equalizer." The Dynasty has the best wrestler ever. The difference between Jonny Fly and Rollin' Thunder is the difference you see written in those history books. That's why The Dynasty IS the best stable ever, and the High Rollers are TRYING to BECOME the best stable ever. It's as simple as that. Rollin' has never beaten me..therefore..his stable has never beaten mine.

I'm sure you caught that though.

"Rollin' has never beaten me"

You guys are really throwing that November match in my face. You try to hard to find your material Jimmy. Let's go the Videotape folks..to set the record straight..once again.

November 21st, Sunday Night Mayhem

The scene fades in, in the office of TNT Owner Jonny Fly. A knock is heard at the door. Fly calls for the person to come in. The door opens, and Jimmy Vetalo walks into the room. He takes a seat across from Fly.

Jimmy Vetalo:

Hey, um, I have a favor to ask from you.

Jonny Fly:

What is it?

Well, Derek, Reed, Stone and I were all talking, and we think, for storyline reasons, that the Tag Titles should come back to Derek and I.

Wait..what?

Yea.

You expect me to throw this match, because of a little pact between stable partners. Why does this seem like a ploy for you to get credit for "beating me?"

Listen, it's just for angle reasons. It's not even your title, man, and Stonehart has agreed to do it. As has your partner, Reed.

First off, it's my company. If you want me to do you a favor, you had better get to work on rephrasing that..quickly..

I'm sorry, but this is what we'd like to have happen.

Fine, but here's the deal. You'll get the titles, but this won't go down on my record, or anyone else involved's record. Second off, since you've all agreed to screw me, I'm not taking that pin. If Reed wants it, he can lay down to you, but I'm not going to quit fighting. You try to pin me, I'm going to kick out, you got that?

That's fine, thanks.

Whatever.

The scene fades with Vetalo getting up and leaving the room.

There you have it.

Got anything to say now, Jimmy? Only in a bad dream would you two ever beat me. You didn't pin me, and the man you did pin agreed to it beforehand. I didn't even lose a title. Therefore, your win, or whatever, doesn't exist. You'll never pin me. You'll never beat me.

For again fuckin' up facts..

Strike 3.

Your out..and so am I.
