Fade In A narrator speaks into a black screen. Narrator: UWA versus TNT? Forgive me here, but, when did this happen? Is it a Halloween thing? Did some genius come up with this overnight, make a couple phone calls and, bam, TNT Wrestlers are going against UWA Wrestlers at a UWA PPV Event? I was actually looking forward to the TNT PPV. However, now people are coming out of the woodwork. Long has there been a certain..dislike..between the two companies. We've always just chalked up such dislike as a simple rivalry. But as this week begins to take shape, doesn't this seem just a bit personal? By the way.. Did someone forget to tell Mike Furious his place? Should a man without the luxury of having a World Title on his UWA rsum be given the right to criticize someone who has a World Title, or two, or say five, to his name? Mike Furious is a mouth, and little more. While some people are able to back up their "mouth," Furious has a history of not backing it up, but instead running. His words hold little weight when it comes down to the big picture. TNT has, at the bare minimum, 8 people that would easily, and probably gladly, put Furious in his place. Don't forget that his career numbers suggest nothing more than a glorified mid-carder. Is this the man that UWA wants as it's spokesman of how they feel about TNT Wrestling? Mike Furious? Is he the man leading the charge against their younger competitors? I can only hope, for the sake of the United Wrestling Alliance, a place that I hold respect for, that this isn't true. The United Wrestling Alliance's Main Event picture hardly goes past World Champion Wall2K, while TNT can throw out any mix of Reed Harrington, Stonehart, Shadow, Nicky Mills, Rollin' Thunder, Jimmy Vetalo, Alexi Draconis. Not to mention Krisus's return and the hopeful quick return of UWA Hall of Famer X-Kalibur. Does Mike Furious, speaking on behalf of UWA, obviously, think that they'll be able to match that? What about if I throw in a particular 5-Time TNT/UWA World Champion.. Jonny Fly. The Equalizer. Now I'm not saying you can't, hell, you probably don't know who a good portion of those men are, but certainly, those men will hold up against anything the mighty United Wrestling Alliance can throw at them. This isn't a weak TNT Wrestling. This IS a weak United Wrestling Alliance. Maybe that's what gives TNT more than a fighting chance, but still, TNT is not going to be a pushover. Especially if we have to watch Mike Furious leading the opposition. Now.. The TNT Wrestling everyone is beginning to see is the direct result of "The Kid Wonder." Many people from UWA remember a TNT that was left to die. The only legitimate wrestler on the entire roster was that very same Jonny Fly. This was the period after Nic Totopoulous, Michael Edwards, Big Boss, and Sean Segrada all retired or left the company, after The Dynasty and the Unforgettable Power's reign's had long gone. And look what ole' Jonny did! Not only did TNT's most renowned wrestler give up his World Title, for a second time, he was brought into the position of TNT Vice President. From that position Fly was able to work on the inside to recreate the TNT glory from the month's before. Now things have come full circle. With Marcel's retirement, Kent Strong, Fly's manager, has taken the reigns of the company and Jonny Fly has been able to come back as a wrestler to give the company a much needed boost in the "big name" category. There doesn't need to be any mistake about it, this is still Jonny Fly, and he'll still beat anyone you place in front of him. From Michael Edwards to Cortez Prodigy two weeks ago, they have all fallen to Jonny Fly. TNT is Jonny Fly's company. If UWA wants to run TNT out or town, if UWA wants to crush TNT "for good" they'll have to go through Jonny Fly. It's not Nicky Mills that UWA wrestlers need to make their comparisons against, it's Jonny Fly. TNT will not fall if Jonny Fly doesn't fall. This has been proven. Fly is, and always will be, the pillar TNT leans on. Now, as most of you know, Jonny Fly is sitting in the Los Angeles County Medical Center and finally, just today, gaining stable condition after the vicious attack he took towards the end of last week's Mayhem. I have yet to receive an update on his condition, but this is Fly were talking about here. This is the man who we watched stare down a pistol aimed in front of him and as the gun went off, not flinch, and not get shot. This is the very man who's defied death not once, but twice. TNT is going to need Jonny Fly in this "war." UWA is not going to be able to beat Jonny Fly in this "war." For those reasons, rest assured doubters, Fly will be there.. Unfortunately, however, Jonny Fly's sketchy past is acting up yet again. If you know about Jonny Fly you know who "CR" is. You know who attacked Fly on Mayhem. You know it was Chris Raygen. Formerly known as TNT TV Champion and the leader of "The Dynasty Hitmen." The man who set Fly up to have to stare down the pistol he was holding, and a man who also looked to have been shot and killed by the hands of Kent Strong. Obviously, he's not dead. And obviously.. Jonny Fly is again in Danger. This may never end. For almost a year Ridder's Cash Loans has been trying to track down and kill Jonny Fly. Two times they had a near miss. That's two times too many. Transmission ends. The camera cuts to a scene. Fade In The scene fades in, in the Los Angeles County Medical Center. We have positioned ourselves in a waiting room. Next to us is TNT President Kent Strong sitting down on one of the seats reading a magazine. From behind him a pair of double doors is seen swinging open. A doctor emerges from behind the door and walks straight over to Kent. Kent turns to see him..he immediately get's up to his feet, Kent Strong: Doc, how is he? Doctor: He's finally stable. However, were still not sure of the depth of the injuries he suffered? He seems to have all of his motor skills, but his neck isn't in good shape. Were going to be taking X-Rays on him later on. Any chance he'll be able to wrestle in a week and a half? Wrestle? No, no. Mr. Fly may have some damaged vertebrae in his neck, even if he could walk out there, any hard hit would probably paralyze him. He's taken quite a beating over the course of time, it's common with wrestlers, but now it's beginning to show. As of now I'd advise him to never wrestle again. Strong hangs his head in obvious disappointment following the comment. Never is a long time, doc. It becomes even longer when I need him in a ring in a week and a half. Do what you have to do to get him ready, we won't hold you responsible if anything were to happen to him. Responsible? If anything were to happen? Kent, if that man wrestles without a complete recovery from his injures, he WILL become paralyzed, and they WILL hold me responsible. I have to sign that he's healthy for him to leave here, and I won't do it. I know this is hard, but I cannot let that man go into a ring for at least 6 months, if ever. Do what you have to do to get him ready to compete in a week and a half. I don't want to here about the politics, the repercussions, any of that. You make up any papers you have to so you don't get blamed for anything and I'll be more than happy to sign them. I can't do that Kent, I'm really sorry. It's just unethical. Strong begins to yell. Fuck politics! You don't get it, this is what Fly wants! This is the war he's been waiting for! This is the time he receives the rewards for his work inside TNT Wrestling. This is when TNT topples the United Wrestling Alliance, when student runs teacher out of it's own classroom, when David fucks up Goliath! You will not get in the way of that. I don't want to see Fly get hurt. We've built our respective career's side by side, if he goes, I go. But I know Jonny, he's too full of pride, he's got too much will to sit in that bed and rot while other fight his war..so I'm going to get him out there. Kent takes a long breath after the rant and awaits a response. I'll do what I can to get him ready Kent, but the risks are terribly high. I'll need you to, of course, sign some papers. I understand that. I'll sign them. So be it. I do plead with you, however, he needs to be here. You can visit him now if you'd like. He should be awake. Alrighty, thanks Doc. Strong and the Doctor shake hands before Strong makes way toward and through the double doors we seen the Doctor come out of earlier. The scene cuts out. Fade Out Fade In The scene fades in, in Jonny Fly's hospital room. Kent Strong has just entered the room and is approaching the bed where Fly lays engulfed by a brace around his neck and a sling around his left arm. Strong approaches Fly from the right side of the bed and grasps his right hand before taking a seat next to him. Fly reaches for the remote controlling his bed and is able to move it upward so he's in an upright position to talk to Kent. Kent Strong: How you doing man? Jonny Fly: I'm not sure I can ever remember a time where I've felt better. I tell you what, this god damn balloon they put on my neck is making it hard as hell to breathe. I'm about to take it off. Leave it on, man. Anything to get you out of here quicker.. Speaking of that, what did the Doc say? Am I going to be ready for Terror? No, your not. But he's going to let you out if you want. All we have to do is sign some papers saying that he cannot be held responsible for any..permanent..damages you may suffer at Terror. Permanent damages? What are we talking about here, Kent? He seems to think your neck is pretty much shot, but they'll be doing X-Rays later to find out more. If your neck is as bad as he says it is just the slightest of impact could leave you paralyzed. You know your in two matches at Terror, and one of them involves 40 people. It's going to be tough to avoid impact on your neck and back throughout those matches. Q-Ball isn't gonna do shit to me. I here that he used to just flat suck, and now has beaten Wall2K. That's what they tell me, but that's not my measuring stick. If I don't know who he is, he probably won't beat me. Injured or not, that guy can't beat perfection. Now, who's all in this Lord or Terror Match? Here, I made a list.. Strong takes out a folded piece of paper and places it in front of Jonny to read.
Ten Minute Major Fly begins to read over the list and after receiving a pencil from Strong, he begins to cross out some names on the list. He begins talking to Kent again as he does so. Well, we can cross out Blob, Christian Williams, Cory Beardwood, Deadman, Doc X, Eric Masterson, Jason Jet, Jesse Westcoat, Hova, Joe Seward, Kurrgan, Mike Graham, Nightmare right off the bat. These guys have no shot and some aren't even really active so to speak at the moment. I'll also cross out X-Kal, because he hasn't been around in a while, Stuart Ratliff, Spitfly, Steve Xtreme, Q-Ball, Judas Auslander, and Giri Futai simply because those guys don't have it in them to win, or, like X-Kal, are just going to be in the match to be in it. Not really a threat, just a name tossed it. Then we get to Boss, Trinatas, Mikey Hell, Rollin' Thunder, Jimmy Vetalo, Nic Totopoulous, Freedom Morelez, and my stable-mate Nicky, all men who I've already beaten that are considered to be, at least, contenders in the match. That leaves who? Reverend Snow? Cross him out. He's just not where he once was. Wall2K? A definite force and a man who has knocked me out of a Rumble before as the second to last man in. He's legit, but I like my chances. Stonehart is a TNT guy, which means he's automatically not in my league. But again, legit. I can beat Rilo, Placebo, Cosmos, Ringo, Major, and Andy Gorgadore. They're probably more of fringe contenders. They'll probably land in the Top 20 and will do something that will have an impact in the rest of the match, but eliminating me? That's a stretch. Who does that leave? I think you've just said you can beat everyone of them. No, there's at least one more. Fly examines the list again. Rubeus Darkhov. A man like myself with some control of what goes on inside our companies. I wouldn't be surprised if it was him and I as the final two men. Jonny Fly defending TNT Wrestling against Rubeus Darkhov for UWA. I think I can do this Kent. A neck is a neck. If Nic can work past paralysis in 9 months, I'll make it six. You just get me there and I'll go to work. Ok. But your forgetting you have to face everyone at the same time? Or, at least, nearly. I understand these matches. I also understand I'm not very good at them. Being honest. I can dominate anyone 1 on 1. I've proven that for two years. But 40 men with a fucked up neck isn't gonna be pretty. If things get rough, I'll look to gain glory for the company, and not myself. That's gotta be a priority. For over a year I've been waiting for this.. UWA used to have it's fun in fucking me over. Rollin' Thunder and myself lost the Tag Team Titles to a bunch of fuckin' kids who admitted themselves that we should of won. But what does Drivelane do? Tells us to job. Tells us to give up our titles to people who didn't even think they deserved them in the first place. What about the fact that I had to win two World Title shots to actually get a World Title shot, and when I won the second shot, and the title, on the same night everyone decided to throw a fucking hissy fit because their man didn't win. I can understand, Kent, people pulling for another person in a match, but their reaction to me winning was a slap in the face. By that entire company. I worked my ass of for an entire year to get there, and then had to go through two hellashish matches to finally hold the World Title. You can be upset that the man you wanted to win, didn't win, but don't you dare question what I did in that ring to get there, and to win there. UWA should know better than to treat a 19 year old with the ability to become one of the best wrestlers ever, as I've become, like shit. Now they pay. This week. Next week. Next month. Next Year. Your running a business. You don't let a young star slip through your hands. You don't treat him like shit. I've lost my matches in TNT, few, but I have, and never once could I justify it with it being total bullshit. Which is what you could chalk up over half my losses in UWA as being. That's the honest to god truth. Now I've become the thorn in UWA's side. Which is nothing more than I could of asked. Now, I've built up a company that will be more than a challenge to UWA. Every wrestler on the UWA roster is going to be dreaming about our company, Kent. We got nothing to lose, were the underdogs, and were playing for keeps. Mike Furious would have something to say about that. Mike Furious? Didn't he die or something? Didn't you die? Yea good point. So he's back? Back, and hasn't changed. No? Then what did he say? He believes that Mills would be beat by most of UWA's undercard, thinks that because guys like Mills and Thunder have success in TNT, but none in UWA that it just means that TNT is weaker. Just the usual Furious propaganda He actually said that? Man, Furious doesn't look at things in the complete form. It's always a one way street with him. The problem is, it doesn't work like that. This isn't Mike Furious Road. Furious looks at Rollin' and Mills, but forgets Big Boss, Cappy, and Michael Edwards. Big Boss left TNT because he couldn't reach the big prize. An 0 for 6 clip against myself and Nic Totopoulous was a big part of that, and a big part of his defection to UWA where he quickly became and remains a top contender. That man was my bitch 8 months ago in TNT, and look at him now over here in UWA! What about Cappy? That man was more or less ran out of TNT. We didn't want him, we didn't need him. He was more of a distraction with his behind the scenes vendetta against Commissioner Gravedigger anyway. Now he's a former UWA World Champion. How the fuck did that happen? And let's not forget the man who most consider the greatest UWA Wrestler ever. Hall of Famer Michael Edwards. The combination of Nic Totopoulous and Jonny Fly forced him into a rather short stay in TNT. After back to back losses to Nic and I, he went back to his little haven. The United Wrestling Alliance. Your best, couldn't cut it against two of TNT's "Big Three." Jonny Fly, Nic Totopoulous, and Sean Segrada. I wonder what Mike makes of that? TNT's history is a lot more rich than he thinks. For our Rollin' Thunder's, who I personally dislike at well, they still have thier Rage's. I think it's safe to say Thunder would wipe the floor with that piece of shit. Mike needs to look at both sides. UWA has had some terrible World Champions. TNT has never had a "terrible" World Champion, yet, we've had some mediocre ones. We've certainly never dropped our talent level to that of Rage, that's for damn sure. And for the record, whenever they want to put Luke Meznick, Spitfly, Agent Gigerfish or Steve Xtreme against my Nicky Mills, I will be glad to watch them try to back up his words. It won't happen. Mills is in a slump, and Reed looms large. Alexi isn't right, and you have some major injury problems. What's going on with The Dynasty? Mark Vincent is a phone call away. I'm fine, Alexi is Alexi, he's still dominant and Mills be forced to break out of his slump next week. Things are fine. And stop worrying about me, who you talking to? I know. I know, Jonny. But it's my job to be worried despite the fact that it's me pushing to get you out of here in time for Terror. Both our career's lye in your hands, and TNT can't lose us both. Just rest up, and do what the Doc tells ya. I'll be back tomorrow. I'm already feeling better. Thanks for stopping bye. You sound normal, but I'm still wondering if your pride is getting in your way. As always. Kent smiles weakly and then makes way toward the door. He stops at the door leading out to the rest of the hospital, he turns to face Fly. I was once told when I was first honing my skill in the wrestling business that one's pride, and one's will are undeniable forces. They can drive you to where you want to go, or into a grave. You let them drive you and you'll be fine at Terror. Fly just nods letting the words from Kent sink in. Kent opens the door and exits the room. As the door closes, the scene fades out.
