"Who's gonna step up?"

Fade In

A narrator speaks into a black screen.

Narrator:

For the first time in over two months, Jonny Fly addressed a TNT crowd Sunday. What he had to say has not only reformed TNT's most distinguished stable in history, but aligned the fiercest of enemies in it. Long gone are the days of Mark Vincent, Rollin' Thunder, Bryan Banger, and Jeremy Cundiff flanking the multi time TNT World Champion. The group that held every title at the exact same time, casting a black cloud over the company that has yet to be matched.

Now, enemies have united. Nicky Mills has been in a fragile state of mind of late, and Jonny Fly used him, while supposedly deceased, to clear the path for his return, safely, to the squared circle. In return, Fly has promised Mills the gifts and glory that come with being a member of such an illustrious group of individuals. Not to mention, Fly's help in last weeks World Title match which spawned the reemergence of another bitter enemy, not only of Fly, but of The Dynasty name.

Alexi Draconis.

Draconis is known in Dynasty circles as the man who led a group labeled "The Titans" against a former version of The Dynasty. The group that had Fly, Vincent, Rollin', Vetalo and Jesse Westcoat. The Titans were supposed to be, in my opinion, TNT's relief aid from The Dynasty's death grip over the company. Young upstarts looking to make a name by taking down a group of icons, legends, and celebrities. Not to mention TNT's most celebrated employee.

Jonny Fly.

Jonny Fly at the time was in the middle of his fourth World Title run. From the Titans, Alexi Draconis quickly emerged as Fly's main competition. So it went, until Fly and Vincent made the surprise decision to not compete in the match and from the ashes of the Dynasty co-founders exit, The High Rollers formed with Thunder and Vetalo leading the charge against The Titans.

Now, the three have joined together. Nicky Mills is now World Champion, Jonny Fly has defied death and the realm of what's real, and Alexi Draconis is back for more. The three, The Dynasty, are once again the men to beat in TNT. First up for Fly..Eurasian Champion Cortez Prodigy.

Chalk one up for the home team.

As usual.

Nothing's changed.

Fade In

The scene fades in, in Tokyo, Japan. We are at The Dynasty's hotel where Jonny Fly and TNT President Kent Strong are sitting in the lounge talking. Fly sits in a white plush chair and across from him Strong is comfortably positioned on a couch. Fly sips at a rum and coke. He puts it down and begins to talk to Strong.

Jonny Fly:

You think it was the right move? Even without Vincent?

Kent Strong:

Come on, you know this is a great thing for the entire company. TNT has had to suffer through months of The High Rollers. The younger wrestlers in this company even took to him as the guy to beat in TNT. Man, if there was ever a time for, or a need for The Dynasty to come back it was now. Alexi, even Shadow, along with you are wrestlers that can put fear into anyone. Mills is getting there, and has already made great strides with so little of your tutelage.

But Mark is a part of the soul of The Dynasty. It feel weird doing this without him, and with so many questions surrounding him. I don't even know if the man is still alive, in the country, in shape, any of that. He's my best friend, and I can't contact him..yet..I can run this group?

You've run it before without Mark, and you'd know he'd want it. However, I'm not sure he even knows, wherever the hell he is, if your even alive.

The last time I "ran" it without Mark, he was still around for me to talk to. Now, I don't know. I just wish he was here. It's always a lot more fun with Vincent in the equation. No matter who we matched up with in the past, he was my equalizer. The attention went to me, but Vincent was just as dominant.

You have a proven "equalizer." You remember what you told me about Alexi the night after you faced him, right? You remember?

Yes I do, and despite seeing little of him sense them, I believe it's still true. He's not the young guy he once was, but I'd compare him to Anubis right now. At the time I said that he was a youngster who worked his way into the Main Event picture in a month. It may of been a little longer, but still. I was still able to defeat him, but I like I told you, the guy would be a Multi-Time World Champion in TNT. If he had wrestled consistently over the last 3 months, it would be him the young guys would be looking up to, not Rollin'.

Let's face it, he's the guy who gains the glory when guys like me aren't around to cast a black cloud over the Main Event picture. Rollin' Thunder has never beaten me, yet, he has tried valiantly to place himself into my role. The Face of the Company. The pillar that TNT Wrestling leans on. I wish he didn't have to make such an ass of himself and was still around. We'd be having some words. Rollin' has no right to call himself anything. He's a second tier former World Champion who only wins titles when the roster is cleared of competition. He shit his pants when he heard I was coming back. That's how he works. That's not how TNT works. Nobody likes Rollin' here, nobody gives a shit about him. He's better off gone. Let the real men lead this company, the men who've been doing it for so long.

The Dynasty.

The High Rollers are already an afterthought.

I don't think they'll be a problem. Especially without Thunder, but we know with our emergence they may try to horde all the talent that they can. Hey, that's just the more people I get to book in matches..of my choice..of my discretion. Hell, I hope they find all the legends in the world, I could use them, and they'll need them to go toe to toe with Alexi, Nicky, and yourself.

I think Mark and I proved some time ago that a stripped down Vetalo and Thunder less Dynasty is still better than The High Rollers. Hell, Reed and Anubis beat them. Cortez and X-Kal beat them. It seems they lose to any legitimate tag team they face. Kinda like them and the World Title. Same thing.

They underestimate our ability to recruit if necessary.

They have one track minds. Unfortunately for them, myself, and my group have run over them before. What makes this different? Am I, Jonny Fly, supposed to care what backing they have? I'm the greatest wrestler on this planet! That gives my group a distinct advantage over anyone, not to mention a group full of average, unimportant, annoying, full of shit, wanna have Jonny Fly's success that is the High Rollers. They loathe the fact that my 4 world titles, and multiple defeats over them trump anything they could ever throw at me. Boo fucking hoo.

True. Jimmy Vetalo is still Jimmy Vetalo. Sean Boyle is still Sean Boyle. Wherever he is, Rollin' Thunder is Rollin' Thunder. They all pale in comparison to you.

Which will never change.

So what about Cortez?

Cortez is fodder. The unlucky recipient of a sure fire loss. Prodigy isn't good enough to beat me. Plain and simple. I'm always too the point. I know, that aint the greatest thing to say, but I'm honest. I hardly know who the guy is, and I really don't care. He's being thrown to the wolves here. Guys like him don't come up with the upset it would take to beat me. They just don't. It's common knowledge. It's the way things go.

You know the curse of underestimating a mediocre opponent..

I know..and I've defied it many times. The only way to be properly cocky, is to back it up better than anyone in recent history. That's me. That's my game, that's how I live and die. If I lost a match to a Cortez Prodigy, I'd be ruined. And that sure as hell aint gonna happen.

That a boy. You gotta come back big if were gonna take this place back over. I need the Jonny Fly that downed every legitimate wrestler this company has employed. The Fly that beat Michael Edwards, Sean Segrada, Totopoulous, White Thunder, Rollin' Thunder, Crak Cokain, Jimmy Vetalo, Alexi Draconis, Shadow, and that list goes on. You know your role in this Dynasty. You were the heart and soul of the former groups, the leader, and Mark was your equalizer.

You were flanked by wrestlers who could do the dirty work under Mark and yourself. This time, your the equalizer. Your role is not to wrestle every week in the Main Event and just slaughter people. That's Mills's role, and Draconis when needed. They're the people driving the bus, I'm telling them where to drive it, and your making sure they get their safe. Any conflict they get into, and double teams, sneak attacks, screwjobs..bam..enter Jonny Fly and every last one of them is kissing the mat. You ready for this?

I created the group as a young wrestler eager for glory. Mark and I wanted attention, so we joined the best young talent together under one name..The Dynasty..and took over the United Wrestling Alliance. Then we took over TNT. And now..were retaking it from the commitee of undeserving wrestlers thrust into roles that are over their head. Like Vetalo and Thunder being in the Main Event picture. Like Reed Harrington and Anubis, who I know you like Kent, finding Main Events sitting in their laps in what, a month? It used to take people like them 3 months at the least to find their way to my position on top of the company..where they would then be knocked all the way down again by me. Oh..yea..I'm ready for this shit.

Both men get to their feet. Strong sticks out his hand. Fly grasps it.

Here comes The Dynasty..

Hell yea! Taking back what's theirs.

TNT Wrestling.

With that Fly and Strong, side by side, leave the lounge area and walk toward the exit doors of the hotel en route to the Tokyo night life.
