Fade In

The scene fades in once again inside the Jonny Fly Mansion in New York City. Fly is upstairs in what will be the area where TNT will hold it's next show. He stands with his arms folded watching as TNT staff members add the finishing touches to the transformed gym. The man we seen Fly talking to earlier this week from TNT walks over to Fly. He begins to talk to him..

TNT Staff Worker:

Well, what do you think?

Jonny Fly:

I think it's fucking amazing what you guys have done with this place. I only hope though, that it will be put back to it's original state when this event is over. Can't live without that gym.

Of course. Any damages, any things we had to do for some reason or another will be fixed and paid for in it's entirety by TNT Wrestling.

That's good. Who knows what's gonna happen here this week. We have some pretty immature people in this company. People who think just because your not around they have the right to talk behind your back about how much shit THEY'RE going to talk once they beat you. Someone forgot to give these assholes the message..I run this show..but I do thank you for setting it up.

It was my pleasure, not to mention my job. Were gonna head home for the night. We'll be back early tomorrow for a final run through and anything else. We'll stay through the night to get the place cleaned up afterwards. Marcel wanted me to let you know his appreciation for allowing us to do this.

You tell Marcel he owes me a shit load of money. Sooner or later I'm going to cash in on all these favors and take this company right out from under him!

Excuse me?

Oh, nothing. Just talking some shit on that guy. I'm not even sure I'm getting paid for my walk in the park tomorrow. Aint that some shit, and the bitch is making my house a free for all!

Right, well, anyway, I'm going to get going. Thanks again.

Before Jonny Fly can answer the doorbell rings.

Alright man, that's fine. If you'd excuse me..

Fly turns and walks away. He looks over the ledge upstairs to the downstairs foyer where his butler is opening up the door. Before the door is opened halfway the hand of Mark Vincent is pushing through. Vincent looks around for Fly and then spots him on the ledge. He says characteristically..

Vincent:

Get yer ass down here! We gotta do some talking. Look, I even brought this damn camera crew that's been following me around for, like, two hours. Fucking parasites!

Fly let's a small "matter of factly" laugh and then heads down the steps to the downstairs where he greets Vincent with a handshake. He then looks over at the camera crew standing outside the door.

Fly:

Feel free to invite them in whenever your ready.

Vincent takes one last look at the camera crew before responding..

Nah. Fuck um. We gotta talk, they can wait.

Fly nods his head and then motions for Vincent to follow him into the house. Fly takes Vincent through a long, straight hallway, through the living room, and out into Fly's office. Vincent takes a seat on one of the two plush couches in the room while Fly sits in his office chair. Fly starts off the conversation..

Fly:

So, what's up?

Vincent:

Our chances of becoming Tag Team Champs tomorrow.

Haven't they always been up, though? Certainly we have no plans whatsoever to lose this match.

Of course. I gotta say, what's with Rollin' using all my comebacks. It looks like your little "class" has scared them away from throwing anything relevant out. I went on, how long, about Rollin' being the weak link, and what does he do? "Mark Vincent's the weak link."

Haha..yea. They may have set a new bar this week for least creative. It's been straight trash talk this whole week. Well, how awesome! Everyone stare in awe..they don't even do it well. That class, though, notice how they didn't say anything back?

Yea I saw that. That shit was classic. You also notice that I now all of a sudden "choke when it matters."

Oh yea! I was rolling after that one! That goes back to their inferiority in the trash talking department. I don't know, maybe they know more than me, but I don't believe you've ever lost a match? Which then means, in turn, have never choked. They really got to get smarted, especially when they have to go into the ring against us. That was plain desperation there. They both know they've choked in big matches so somehow they wanted to turn that against us. They know they couldn't touch me with that shit..so they go to you..and you haven't even lost.

Exhibit 6:

Never force a comeback you fuckin' idiots! Especially when it's so painfully clear that your talking out of your ass..

Sorry Mark, I had too! It was too easy.

Just then one of the cameramen from the outside finds his way into the room. Mark looks at Jonny as if asking if he can say something.

I don't control you. Say what you gotta say.

Sweet..I've been waiting to do this all day..

Vincent turns to the camera and begins to talk.

Rollin, Jimmy, you just dont get it. Youre consistent knack of not grasping the truth is flat-out appalling to me. Never before have I seen men so interested in meaningless numbers, numbers that dont even favor them. Who gives a shit that you guys have three world title wins between the both of you? Is that supposed to somehow, someway, carry any weight going into our match? Last week, all I heard out of Rollin Thunder was about how I have accomplished nothing, and he has accomplished everything. All I heard was that he reached the top of the mountain faster than I did.

Well, in getting to the top so quickly he must have tired himself out, because he posed as no threat last Sunday. Jonny Fly has five world title wins by himself, does that mean he could take you two guys out in a handicapped match? Maybe, but probably not. The fact is, past accomplishments dont mean anything to guys like me.  Its knowing what you can do the next time you get in the ring that matters. Not that yours stand up to ours. Look at the records, fellas.

Why do people consistently make the mistake of thinking that Rollin Thunder is something special. It seems as though week after week people fall into this trap, this spider web of garbage. Big Jimmy Vetalo is the latest to get stuck in his weave. How is it that it took me beating a mid-carder for you to realize that I might not be a slouch? You didnt notice that after I beat 2 time World Champion Nic Totopoulous one week, only to pound he and then Eurasian champion Big Boss into the ground in the next? What about when I took the Bosss Eurasian title? Nothing?

Well at least you came around!

When you have seen one Rollin Thunder and Big Jimmy Vetalo promos, you have seen them all. What can you expect in them? Well, lets see. First, look for some kind of not-so-subtle dick or sex reference. Then, well hear of their admirations for the wrestlers that have made it in the former holy trinity of wrestling companies: the WWF/E, ECW, and WCW. Then, well hear about the Lakers, and then, expect an ending of some kind of re-hash of whatever the hell it was that I had said earlier in the day. Simple sounding, isnt it? And doesnt it sound like crap? Yeah, it does, its pretty terrible. I bet if given the time I could predict what they will both say about their matches next week.

I just dont see how so much could have supposedly changed in the last six days. Yes, I pinned your shoulders to the mat and got the 1..2..3 Rollin and yes, you got your ass and ego handed to you in one swipe, but that was then and this is now? Youre that confident in yourself that after only slightly more than one hundred and twenty hours youre guaranteeing victory? If there is one thing that my older brother Chris has taught me, its to never guarantee something that you dont have any control over, because more times than not youre going to come out looking like an idiot. You guys dont have any control on the winner of this match. If we lose, its because we beat ourselves, not because of anything that you guys did. Our talent can be, at times, just as much a burden as it is a luxury. I know that you guys have never been in that position, so let me lay it out for you; its a tough situation.

There seems to be some Dynasty homework, and its due date is tomorrow. The assignment? Step into the ring with the current TnT Tag Champions, the High Rollers. Not that difficult. Jimmy, Rollin, we could have ended you guys last Sunday as Mayhem went off the air. Are you two feeling sore? Still? Because the excruciating pain and embarrassment that you guys were just seconds away from feeling on June 6th at the hands of the Dynasty was only a small sample of what we truly can and will do to you once we step into the ring for real. Now, we could have gone all out on the both of you last night when we had Vetalo laying limply in the ring and the nave Roll Thunder running to his aid to ill effect.

We could have ended you right then and there, and took your respective titles from around your waists. But instead we gave you a portion you would normally find at a place like Costco, enough to know how it tastes, but not enough to fill you up. Well, come Sunday, you will be filled up. Do you know how painful it was for the two of us to let you go easy? You dont think that we could have broken past those referees if we had wanted to?

To leave enough of you left to come back this week, pop off a bit spouting corny catch phrases and threats, and then do it all over again, well quite frankly, it was the hardest thing I personally have ever had to do, and I've gone through knee surgeries, months of rehab, months of not being able to walk. It was all necessary though, we could have finished you off but decided against it. But instead, we only gave each other a very small bit of that wonderful taste that is putting someone in their place. Because now, now the hunger is there, the hunger to regain the feeling that we felt last night. When Sunday finally comes, and we are able to put our hands around the scrawny necks of you two, you will know whose been lying worse than Clinton during this week.

Rollin, you did this last week and you did it again this week before our match. Do you do this to all of your opponents? Only hours before our matches you try to convince me to walk away, that youre just looking out for me. I see right through this. Walk away while I still can? I could hardly walk last week before the match, during, and even after. Yet I performed just as well as I ever had. For once, just shut up before the match. Quit with the feeble insults, quit trying to convince everyone that youre actually a something, and just go into the match without giving us any bulletin board quotes. You have to learn when to close your mouth, quite frankly. You dont have the talent to back it up.

Vincent stops and Fly chimes in.

Actually, I probably could beat them in a handicapped match. There really not that good. Why else were they buried behind us when we were around? Certainly not because they were better than us by any stretch. They needed us to give them recognition. You could beat them as well, together, they have no shot at beating us. Nobody does. This match is already over. Rollin' and Jimmy always talk their shit, and then they always roll over and die when it comes time to back it up.

We've both beat Rollin', Vetalo is nothing. Draconis beat him, and while a fine wrestler, Draconis is not close to me. Trust me, you'd beat him two. Were going into the ring against inferior competition. They're hallucinating with thoughts of victory and I've really enjoyed letting them build themselves up. But tomorrow I'm able to get out my saw, and knock em down. I live for matches like these. I've only lost one title match ever. You've never lost one. But two years, nine titles, one title loss. This is a title match..why does anything else have to be said?

They've been repeating the same things all week. "Mark Vincent is weak." "Jonny Fly is just using Vincent." "Were gonna win." "I have a World Title." "I have five titles." "I'm a triple threat champion." I heard that's going to win them a match against the two best superstars in TNT History. Seriously, it's a wicked rumor going around. It looks like maybe we were wrong Mark. I mean, what have they been telling us all week "Were gonna win." So I guess now that it comes from them, it's official.

Haha! Like anything they say holds any weight.

I'm just glad people don't actually take them seriously. Could you imagine? If everything they said were true Jimmy Vetalo would beat God, the other one, not Nic, in a wrestling match and Rollin' Thunder would actually be more than just a person who I use to get my dose of daily laughs at. Rollin's great, he just doesn't win matches. He climbed the ladder before you did? You've wrestled, what, 11 matches? I may be mistaken, but it took that guy over two years to get there. I think you got him beat by about..oh..550 days or so!

They always are trying to get the upper hand. We'll show them..

The Dynasty has never lost a tag match.

Mark and Fly both nod their heads at that last statement.

And were no starting now.

Hell no! Bring them over to this house..We'll give them a warm welcome!

That's of course assuming Vetalo keeps his bitch tied up!

Rollin' or Erica?

Maybe both?

Fly and Vincent share a laugh as the scene cuts our from the Mansion.

Fade Out

Enter Voiceover:

The cost of winning gets harder and harder each and every time out. The toll on your body is more, physically it get's harder. The only thing that helps guys like me, guys who seem to have been around forever is our veteran savvy. I made winning Big Matches a fine art. I invented the little things that give you big time results. I do little, hidden things that make myself look good. And that's a part of this business. You have to walk, you have to talk.

Guys like me that can put those two together go a long way. People wonder why there's careers have stalled, while mine has flourished. People got upset when I passed them by. That's too bad. Winning is everything though, and you do what you have to do to win. The Dynasty, the original one, was made for me to look better. I admit it. It's perception baby. I was the leader of a young group of kids that made a lot of noise.

You get noticed.

And dammit if I'm not the center of attention everywhere now. This makes people, naturally, jealous. It's not right for the World Champion to be a feeble pawn to a retired person such as myself. It's really not, but his is reality, people recognize my name, my fame, and my commitment to winning. What does Jimmy Vetalo have on that? Nothing. Truthfully, I probably would beat the guy, but for as much as he said he's wait for someone to step up and challenge him, if that person was me, he's balk immediately.

It would hardly be a contest.

One on One, I don't lose. Half the matches I've lost in my career have been on a tag team front. I'm not a great guy in Tag matches. Now, if I stayed in the ring the entire time, that'd be a different story. Having to tag in someone else when your on a good flow, just isn't me. I like to get in there, set people up, take shots early, and then come out with big flurry's late when they're worn down. Do that in a tag match, and you lose.

But's that's also not to say that I plan on losing. That page is ripped out of this man's dictionary. I don't believe in it. I don't believe in sitting on a mat for three seconds no matter the beating I've taken. It's against my religion. If Jimmy Vetalo and Rollin' Thunder think there going to pin me, they're sadly mistaken. They don't have what it takes to beat someone like me. Mark and I are the favorites, and we don't hold a title. They have three and are given little chance to win by the public.

Hey, I'd take offense to that too!

But really, I don't give a shit. Those are two of the cockiest, ignorant motherfuckers out there. They're clueless as to what it takes to beat me. And it's not long 3 hour ramblings about how one has a world title and the other about how many undercard titles he's won in a career. That doesn't beat me. A Eurasian Title match doesn't prepare you for me. Our so called number one contenders for the TNT World Title..Thunder and Krisus..are men I have beat, or could beat with my arms tied behind my back.

I guarantee you that they will try their best to cover up they're coming loss, or simply pull an RT and blame something else for the loss. Hey, whatever. Become Nicky Mills, be Big Boss. And then look at that 0 and 4 record those idiots have combined against me. Then think to yourself.."That's why he's Jonny Fly."

Those words mean something.

I've held down this company from the first day I was a part of it. My first match was against then World Champion Nic Totopoulous in a Main Event. That's what I am, that's how good I can be. Does anyone believe they can top that? Well, maybe not believe, I'm sure there's millions of people who would lick their chops to face me in a match. But afterwards, ah, that Monday night listening to those weak comebacks, those classic cover ups and plain excuses. I'm used to it, but I've never had to do it myself.

A team of Jimmy Vetalo and Rollin' Thunder won't change that.

Your looking at your winner. Write it down, take your bets on it. I won't be beaten. Not this man, not this time. Not to them. I have too much pride to see people who've tried their damndest to screw me over get a victory over me. Not after what they've said. They'll need to kill me, and I'm a little too young to die. Prepare yourself Thunder, Vetalo.

For you've pissed off the wrong person.

Your head has become so big after just one big win that it's due for a little popping. Like a fuckin' zit. How big you going to be when I hit you with the "Fly Swatter?" What are you going to have to say then..go ahead and write up the speech now. Don't even worry about tomorrow. I'll make the show I'm about to put on as quick as possible.

And then we'll see who gets to brag!

Bring on another one of those Monday evening excuse fests..
