A Day at the Mansion | |||

Fade In The scene fades in at the Jonny Fly Mansion in New York City. Inside the house we find ourselves in Fly's living room. We scan around the room, seeing nobody. We move on to the kitchen in search of Fly. He's not there. We then make way up Fly's marble staircase to the upstairs/gym section of the house. Inside the gym we notice a man in the back of the room. We walk back and notice "The Kid Wonder" working at a squat rack. He finishes his set and turns around to notice the camera. Fly let's out a little laugh, and then grabs a towel motioning the camera to follow him. He walks over to a makeshift living room in the corner of the gym. There's two chairs set up separated by a television. A spot to relax after working out in the gym. Fly grabs one of the seats, and the cameraman takes the other. When both men are ready, Fly begins to talk into the camera.. Jonny Fly: For those of you who don't know me, allow me to introduce myself. I'm the man you strive to be in this company. I am the benchmark, the standard, the greatest living thing to touch a TNT ring. I am "The Kid Wonder" Jonny Fly. Now that were done with formalities.. What happened last week was a joke. Rollin' Thunder and Jimmy Vetalo were so scared of facing the team of Mark Vincent and Chris Raygen, that they decided to take out half of it. And they did it, I hope they're proud of. But allow me to make this clear, I'm not Chris Raygen, and certainly, my addition into the Tag Team Titles match is the last thing you two wanted to see happen. You guys have been in The Dynasty before. You know what happens when you mess with one of our prestigious members. Your put on a little list. A list that makes you a target, an enemy of the greatest group of people Wrestling has ever produced. It seals your fate, it ends your career. And you two are on it. Happy now? You think you can just walk around my company thinking your hot shit and doing whatever you please? Is that what you thought? Give me a break. You two are trash. Rollin' hasn't won a meaningful match in ages, and Jimmy Vetalo is the biggest self promoting nothing I've seen since Nicky freaking Mills. Who probably would beat Vetalo. Let me ask you this Jimmy, how in the hell are you a "Two-Time TNT World Champion?" You know your full of shit there. A "Co-World Title" is not a World Title. Trust me, I've had one. Being the World Champion means your the best wrestler in the world. How can there be two of those? But hey, how about this, if you want to count that Co-World Title that I GAVE you, then fine.. Your now looking at 4 Time TNT World Champion Jonny Fly. Looks like that mountain has just got a little higher. I haven't even wrestled in 3 months and I'm still winning World Titles. Hey, when your good, your good. And I'm the best. You both know it, you've both seen it. You know exactly what's coming this Sunday and you still won't stop it. You can't stop it. Rollin's already had his shot at it and walked away limping, bruised, and empty handed. As is the case so many times, to so many people. The way I look at it, and Mark has already touched on this, Rollin' is exempt in this match. We've both beaten the man. He talks like he's something great, but guys like me, guys who've faced him, see right through his talk. He never backs it up. His whole purpose in this company is to make himself look like a big time player for the rookies. To get them scared. To get them to go "Oh! That's Rollin' Thunder, wow!" Ha! Rookies. What do they know, right Rollin? Your nothing next to me. You played catch up to me your whole career. You've gone out of your way to get under my skin. Face it, there's not a person out there who puts you in my league. You make up some "Triple Title" shit and think your something special. What, couldn't make it in the Main Event picture and had to drop down to actually win something? You think that's good? Win 4 World Titles then come talk to me. Beat Michael Edwards, Nic Totopoulous, and Sean Segrada..for real..and then come talk to me. Hell Rollin, why not even beat Jesse Westcoat for the first time! How many in a row did you lose to him? Three? And were supposed to be shaking in our wrestling boots, for you? How many of your last, say, eight matches have you won, Rollin? Is that two I hear? TWO! That's fucking pathetic. And your getting a World Title shot? Don't even try and tell my you've earned that, I'd burn you so bad, kid. Next time you talk to Vetalo you make sure you thank him for that little present he's giving you. Speaking of Jimmy.. Come a long way haven't you? It wasn't too long ago you were sitting back watching me, studying me, learned from the best this industry had to offer. And look where your at now! Flashing a World Title around your waist. Never mind the fact that going through Jeremy Cundiff is hardly going through Jonny Fly, but you got it. As you should have. That is the drop off after my reign. There hasn't been anyone to really pick up the slack. When this company was at it's best I was World Champion and Mark Vincent was the Eurasian Champion. And you two, were either not around, or buried behind us.
I know you Vetalo, and no matter
what you try to tell everyone this week, you know exactly what's coming for you
this week. This is the Dynasty, whether it's the best one or the worst one, were
undefeated, and noticeably still a better team than you guys. You said last week
Vetalo "there is a reason we've been champs for as long as we have." Let me go
ahead and fill everyone in on why your the champions. Vetalo, your not there yet. Two weeks ago was the only big match you've ever won. It was the first time you actually made an impact in this company. Your Tag Title Reign, if you can call it that, has been nothing. Again, how can you have the best reign ever when this is your first defense. Any of your other titles you've won, they're worthless. If it's not a World title, it really doesn't matter. Compared to guys like myself and Mark, your nothing. Your getting a little arrogant. If you wrestled in the TNT I wrestled in early in my TNT career, you would struggle at the TV Title level. White Thunder, Sean Segrada, Nic Totopoulous, Michael Edwards, Big Boss, and Jonny Fly on the same roster. That's probably the best collection of talent on one roster at any time. And guess what Jimmy? My record against those men other than myself is 9 and 1. The one loss due to interference by Big Boss, in a match that my opponent, Nic Totopoulous, publicly said I should of won. You Vetalo, are not up with those group of men. Don't even say you are, your not even close. Any one of them will tell you and I'm telling you, write this down if you have to..it's gonna hurt. Jimmy Vetalo is not a feared name. Jimmy Vetalo, despite facing the inferior competition that fills this company, has shown no signs of dominance. When it was all on the line against Alexi Draconis, Jimmy Vetalo choked. Dominant stars don't choke. You beat Jeremy Cundiff..but not Alexi Draconis..what's that telling you? Since your friend Rollin' Thunder is considered the number one contender, you'll defend your title at PPV. But again..Rollin' Thunder is not in that group of people. Those are the men you have to beat to get half way close to where I'm at. You don't even have to beat all of them, like I have, just one or two of the big names. One win against a mediocre opponent that just happened to fall upon the World Title doesn't allow you to walk around my company acting like you own the place. TNT is the company of Jonny Fly. TNT is the company of The Dynasty. The best wrestler and the best stable. Simply..out of your league. The Jonny Fly name doesn't need to scare you guys. What I do in the ring does. My name hasn't won me 41 matches and 5 World Title in my UWA and TNT career. And no, it's not an accident either. You don't just wake up one day with that type of rsum. You guys can keep thinking your great. Go ahead and tell everyone you'd rather face me than Raygen. Go ahead and basically promise everyone a victory. When this is over, and this a promise, I'm going to make you eat every last word. I'm going to go public and read over everything you feel obliged to say about me. How about you face the music Jimmy..if I was around you would still be sitting behind me. I'm too good. I don't hold people down. But when you win every match, it's kinda hard for inconsistent guys like you and Rollin' to have a chance in hell of beating me. Say what you want. Say what you need to make yourself feel better about your slim chances this week.. I'm still Jonny Fly. I'm still recognized as the face of this sport. My legacy counters everything you can throw at me. And your not good enough to change that. Neither of you. Get over it. Jonny Fly gets up from his seat and begins as the scene changes. Fade Out Fade In The scene fades outside of Fly's mansion about 10 minutes later. A large truck labeled "TNT Wrestling" has pulled up and parked just before the steps leading up to the Mansion. A man gets out from the truck just as the front door of the mansion opens. Jonny Fly walks out of his house and down the stairs to the driveway. He greets the truck driver. Jonny Fly: Hey man! Fly and the man shake hands. Man: Thanks for letting us use the house this week. Kinda brave seeing the immaturity of some of these wrestlers. You think we can begin to set up now? Well, if anything is ruined, Marcel pays for the repair, so what do I care, right? But about set up..I don't know. Not even sure where to have you guys set up. Marcel informed me that you have a ring upstairs.. Yea, yea, my whole upstairs is basically a large training complex. I have the standard sized ring and everything, but it's getting space for a good sized crowd that's puzzling me. I have a ton of equipment up there.. I got a team I can get up there to move it. As long as you agree to it. Yea, go for it. I just ask that you put it all back when the show is over. I don't have time to be cleaning up for all this. You guys are going to have to help me out. None of that's a problem. Alright, good. Now about the parking situation, and ideas on how were going to be able to fit thousands of people around this house? We'll have to use some of the yard. We can make it into a parking lot, have people out there directing cars where to go and charge some money. Whatever we make we can give to you. That's fine. Go ahead and use the yard, but that's not going to hold everyone. You'll also need to direct them through the back of the house to the upstairs. I want to try to keep people out of the front of the house. We'll set up some sort of walkway and have markers to direct people if you'd like. If we can't fit everyone in the yard, then they'll have to find someplace else. I can talk to one of the businesses around here and see if they'd help us out with the parking. But other than that, not much we can do. That's fine. I have company coming pretty soon so you guys do what you gotta do, call me if you need me. Alright Jonny, good deal. The man walks back over to his truck and begins to open as Fly turns away and walks back up the steps of the Mansion before opening the door and stepping back inside. The scene fades with the door closing. Fade Out Fade In The scene fades in back inside the Jonny Fly Mansion about a half hour later. The doorbell to the house rings and Jonny Fly's butler comes walking into the foyer. He opens the door to reveal Mark Vincent on the other side. Vincent walks into the house, give the butler his sweater, and then walks into the living room where Fly is sitting. He takes a seat in a chair to the left of "The Kid Wonder." Fly, who was watching TV, switches the television off and focuses his attention of Vincent. Mark Vincent: So.. Jonny Fly: They just don't know, man. Your, what, 11 and zap? I'm 41 and 10..and yet..Thunder..6 out of his last seven he's lost..and Vetalo..a man that's a Main Eventer because of my push for him to be, think they can beat us..together! Hearts are going to be broken on Sunday, Mark. And it aint going to be ours. Our best against their best, and it's not even going to be close. They don't even realize this. Guys of our caliber are few and far between in TNT anymore, so they've been riding high as second level competitors. Not anymore. The Big Boys are back.. Mark Vincent: They really have nothing on us. Especially Rollin', what can he really say? "Uh, you guys suck, even though you both have completely decimated my overrated wanabe a top star even though I have a sub .500 record in my career ass." Like you said, it was you who gave Vetalo his first crack at becoming a top player. He certainly didn't do shit by himself. I don't even know why you pulled him out of the Television Title division anyway.. Jonny Fly: Just to hear him slander me afterwards. How cool is that? But whatever, beating Cundiff isn't hard. He seems to think that belt he has on his shoulder will be there forever. You'll have a shot at it by the end of summer. Nothing he can do about that. When that day comes, say goodbye Vetalo. Mark Vincent: I'm just waiting. That's the only piece of my career that's missing. Other than that, I'm blemish free. Jonny Fly: If Draconis, Cundiff, and Vetalo can win World Titles, your not even going to need a healthy knee to win. You could beat those guys with your fucking arms tied behind your back. There terrible! Look at your top competition..Krisus..Sean Boyle..give me a break! You don't even have to worry about Nic. Our Dynasty basically left him fried a long time ago. We did that..Digger, you, and myself. The only people that really mattered in that group. Mark Vincent: Yea, and Thunder complains about behind held down! Jonny Fly: Just more bullshit from the king of it. I don't why he just doesn't sit in a corner and hide. How can he justify one word he says this week? He can't. What was all that shit he said last week.."Oh, Vincent's nothing, he's Jonny Fly's bitch, you won't make it to the title match, I fear nobody, you damn right this match is a money maker, because I'm in it!" Yea, way to go you! I hope you enjoyed all that shit you just ate. Not to mention he's trying to act like it never happened. That's why Rollin' isn't where he try's to say he is. He says whatever he pleases during the week, loses consistently, and then the next week he's the greatest to ever walk into a TNT Ring. Say's who? Him? Yea..right. I mean hell, Mark, he's beat "everyone that has came through TNT." Yea..I'm afraid that would be me, and that includes him. His will never include me. Mark Vincent: How is he even a contender for the Eurasian Title, much less the World Title! Jonny Fly: Vetalo handpicked him for an easy title defense. Seem little Rollin' Thunder, the man whose so original that everyone is someone's "bitch," is quite a bitch himself. Jimmy Vetalo's little toy. Vetalo's handpicked opponent to hold onto his title for another measly month. And I'm still waiting for him to tell him how he "shoved me out the door." I'm forgetting when I ever left TNT..maybe he could fill me in on it. Have I not been at like every show since my retirement as an in-ring competitor. I mean, did he make me retire? I could of swore my last match was a complete demolition of one Sean Boyle slash Lyricz. Hey, Rollin', when your as good as I am, when you've beat every high level wrestler in history..you tend to not care anymore about facing nothings like yourself and Vetalo. So then you retire. That's why I'm living the high life, retired or not, Vice President or not, and your chasing my glory, my legacy, in my company. Mark Vincent: You were right about what you told me last week. You do kinda have to carry him in the match to make it interesting. That certainly did no favors for my knee. Jonny Fly: It hurt? Mark Vincent: Not at all. But wear and tear..you know. I don't know why wrestlers put up with him. I certainly don't want to have to carry my opponents weight into a match. Probably why he was run out of UWA. Jonny Fly: Marcel and I aren't too fond of his in-ring abilities either. But he has one of those bitch contracts that you just can't cut from payroll, some clause or something. We aint paying him shit though, so whatever, ya know? Mark Vincent: Not even sure why Vetalo puts up with him. With Rollin' as his partner, he can't feel good about this match. Where going to try to do this the easy way. Vetalo is hands down the better of the two. So it'll be Rollin' in the ring most of the time, and I'm not going to carry him around to make it a good match. I'm going to drop him as soon as possible and send those two back down to earth early. Jonny Fly: I think it kinda goes like this, Vetalo was brought to TNT by Rollin' Thunder. So, rightfully, he feels a sense of loyalty to him. I'm sure he clearly see's Thunder's inferiority, but now just isn't the right time for him to split from him. He'll get his easy PPV win, Thunder, who can't stand looking bad at all, will get pissed, and they'll probably have a falling out. Then again, Thunder will be on the look for some talented guy to hang on to to get his name back in the Main Event picture. He says leaving The Dynasty was the best thing for his career. He didn't leave shit. I kicked his ass out, and didn't invite him back this time. I left, with The Dynasty, and he made up The High Rollers from the remains who in turn lost to The Titans in a stable war. The Titans! They had one legitimate wrestler..Alexi Draconis. A man I had already backhanded the month before to defend my then World Title. Also a wrestler that Jimmy Vetalo can't beat. This has been proven. Mark Vincent: Seems like Thunder is The High Roller bitch. Kinda like The Dynasty right? Some things never change! Jonny Fly: That's for sure! Were still the top two in TNT, same as we were back then. Just another chance, and another stage to prove it. This one's almost too easy. There playing right into our hand.. Mark Vincent: Yep, yep. Well anyway, I just wanted to stop by and see what was going on. I think I'm going to go to a Mets game tomorrow so I'm gonna run home and get some rest. Jonny Fly: Still a fuckin' Mets fan. Things really don't change! Vincent and Fly get up from their respective seats. Vincent begins to move toward the door with Fly right behind him. As Vincent approaches the door, the butler opens it allowing for him to leave. Vincent turns back to Fly.. Mark Vincent: I'll get in touch with you tomorrow.. With that Mark Vincent exits the Mansion. The butler closes the door behind him as the scene fades to black. Fade Out "The Kid Wonder"
