Soy Candles by Carolee I went with soy wax because of the benefits. I have asthma so it is very beneficial to have soy candles rather then the regular parafin wax candles that create soot. I hope you enjoy my scented soy candles. I happily take requests for fragrances too. As of January 2008 a portion of my proceeds will be going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research in honor of my father and to the Humane Society of the United States to help stop cruelty to animals. Pine View Yarns To think that it all started with one lamb, named Chops, in 1985! Mother-daughter team, Barb and Carolee, have been knitting and spinning most of their lives. Carolee loves to spin and taught her mother how to spin and Barb is a master knitter. You can find their handspun yarn at Emmi Beads on Fountain Street in Clinton.
