Mr. Lee’s Class Rules:

1) Class materials: You must have the following items in class everyday: math notebook, pencil or pen, calculator and math textbook. A folder is necessary to keep dittos, exams and quizzes.

2) Notebook: All students are expected to take notes. You should date your pages daily and keep it ORGANIZED.

3) Homework: Homework will be assigned almost daily. I will check homework in class and will occasionally collect homework unannounced. I will accept late homework the day after you come back from an EXCUSED absence. You will either get full credit (2pts) or no credit (0pts). To earn full credit, your homework should be complete or at least, almost complete. It should not be half done or sloppy.

4) Class work: All students are expected to take notes. There will always be a Do-Now on the board when you come in. Take out your homework first and then start the do now.

5) Exams and quizzes: The majority of your grades will come from exams and quizzes. You can make up a quiz or test ONLY if you have an excused absence. The deadline to make up a quiz is one week after the test or quiz is given. NO EXCEPTIONS!

6) Grades: will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limiting to exams, quizzes, class work, homework and class participation. A point system will be used.

7) Absences, tardy and classroom expectations: Absences need to be excused or they will be considered cuts. If you are absent, you are still responsible for all the work you missed. Being late without an excuse and cutting will not be tolerated. You are expected to do your work, and raise your hand if you need to speak. Failure to behave and act appropriately will result in detention and possibly further disciplinary action(s).
