Friends of the Library

Our Friends of the Library organization has been extremely helpful in providing support and funds for library projects. They meet the first Thursday of the month from September to May.  The meetings are held at the library at 10:00 a.m.  Dues are $2.00 per year and membership can be obtained by contacting the library.

Internet Access

The Gates Foundation graciously donated two new computers for public access. Anyone age 14 or above can access the Internet free of charge.  Each person wishing to go online, is asked to sign an internet policy agreement before logging on. Any child below the age of 14 may access the internet if their parent signs a policy agreement and is in attendance while the child is online.

Library Cards

First time Library Cards, are free of charge. To replace a lost card, the fee is $2.00. Patrons from the surrounding counties may be issued a library card for a yearly fee of $25.00.

Gateway Card

We also may issue a Gateway Card to patrons in good standing who want to check out books from other participating libraries in the Gateway network.  Patrons must have a valid library card and be in good standing for 6 months prior to being issued a Gateway card.
