| GIG REPORT |
| There was a lot of Panic between Cleavage beach about a week before the gig as we had not had a single practise in about 3 months. Our first practise for the gig was infact the day of the gig. We all met at Pauls house at 11 in the morning and Practised the set over and over again there. Then we all went to Sophies house (the drummer from Dreamer) and listened to there set and they listened to ours. We made changes to the play list but unfortunatly we hadn't confirmed them in time. We all split up and made our seperate ways to the hall, some taking food and guitars, others taking drums, some just walking. We made it there on time and began setting up, this was done by all the adults there that are too many to name. All equipment was set up in an hour leaving half an hour for both bands sound checks. First up was dreamer, Cleavage beach watched from the floor (exept for Dave as he is there bass player aswell) and they played there set list perfectly and to Top it off some were wearing there personalised T-shirts. Also the Guitarest Andy Hicks had a shirt, tie and stick on side burns. They finished there set and Will (the singer) jumped from the stage with an inflatable hammer and started hitting random people in the crowd. when they finished we all went backstage to prepare. Craig felt slightly ill and Dave was already exausted, but he had to do it all over again. We walked on and started playing, unfortunatly we messed up the first song that we practised over and over again that morning. Craig felt a lot better when we got goin and after that everything went smoothly. Picking any songs from the range we can play and performing them out to the crowd. We finished our set and went to talk to the crowd, happy with the sound we made. because it was so succesful we are now planning future gigs and future playlists already. |
