Twilight Grins

Night caresses, with cool breezes,
blowing out candles I've lit,
Staging celestial radiance of its own, to
a solitary audience, on the meadow where I sit,

Alone, but not alone am I,
fireflies blink.......starlights wink,
Zephyr tenderly draws me nigh,
in ebullient awe, I inwardly drink,

As.........luxuriant ebony curtains part,
the ethereal dance,
to the beat of night's heart,
entranced am I, in this silent romance.

and sitting there upon the meadow,
hair fanning out by the caress of the wind,
surrounded by lights of the night,
I shine with reflections when twilight grins.
