SHRAPNEL
By: Kate Brandywine
striped from my lips that very kiss
for compassion shows no true bliss
and when you cover your eyes from me
there is so much beauty you will never see
surrender your heart and know my throe
the breaking mountain hither will go
drag you down that broken glass
what his shallow heart shall surpass
dont hold the shrapnel to damn tight
cant be your god damn fucking snow-white
you gave up hours ago on so little
never knew how my heart was brittle
I will walk and sit upon the mornings dew
for tonight will be the last I think of you
