Mystery Man
By: Kate Brandywine

That hazy, vast chamber
Where the light plunged from the canopy
Through the croud in kaleidoscopic light
Midway through was what it took
As his gaze came upon mine
I smiled and glanced from that place
Repetitious movements became us
But as he stood to face me
I could see his gorgeous cobalt eyes
The masculine figure grew closer
And that moment set the night

This mystery man so intense
Two bodys became one as we moved
Driving though that croud
Forcing to the front to behold it all
Dancing to a single beat in time
And losing myself in that moment
It all must have stopped right then
I could feel his heart beat accelerate
As the music grew ever quicker
So did the movement of his hands
Down my sides and around my waist
And then it all stopped
Just as quickly as it had started
And right there we stepped back and parted
The secrets that were not told
And the thoughts left in that chamber
Set a memory of a mystery man
