To Order a Calendar:Fundraising
AIDWYC (The Association in the Defence of the Wrongly Convicted) is a non-profit organization comprised of lawyers, investigators, assistants, and office staff, etc. who provide free legal service to individuals have been wrongly convicted of a capital crime. Although the lawyers donate all of their time, there are still numerous costs such as travel, telephone costs, printing, photocopying, etc that must be covered. As a not-for-profit organization, AIDWYC depends on the generous support of the community to cover these costs.
In February 2006, AIDWYC generously agreed to take on the Wilbert Coffin case and work towards getting a Ministerial Review of the case with the ultimate goal of clearing Wilbert’s name. In order to support AIDWYC in their efforts the family and friends of Wilbert Coffin, and the community at large are holding fundraising activities to raise funds that will be donated to AIDWYC.

2007 Gaspe Calendars

We have the perfect thing for you - A calendar containing pictures from around the Gaspe area. A different breathtaking image for each month.
The best thing about these calendars is that all of the profits will be donated to AIDWYC in support of the work that they are doing for the Wilbert Coffin case.

The calendars are $15 plus $2 shipping per calendar.

Calendars will be shipped via Canada Post upon receipt of payment.
Calendars can also be purchased in Gaspe by contacting Marie Coffin Stewart at 418-368-7238 and they can be picked up with no shipping charge.
For larger orders shipping discounts may be available.
The calendars are printed on high-quality paper and wire-bound. They make a great gift for friends, family, neighbours and yourself. They are a great way to have a little piece of home for those of us who no longer live in Gaspe.

Marie Coffin Stewart, sister of Wilbert Coffin, knit a blanket and sold raffle tickets on it. The winner was drawn in early December and the winner was Ruby Ascah. Thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket.
