My Delta |

As the Delta appeared in magazines in
1979 I immediately fell in love with it's shape. But at that time was a
dedicated biker without even a
licence to drive something on more than 3 wheels... or the money to afford
something like a new car. I started looking for an affordable Delta around 1986 as I had a steady income... but it took me until march 1994 to find this really fine one. Rosso Corsa, my favorite colour! It turned out to be a special one with factory installed servo assisted steering. To complete my must-haves I had a sunroof and foglights fitted. I arranged to keep my old Prisma's alloy wheels, which I liked very much. Travel took us all around Europe, Italy, Scotland, Germany, France. A great car, very smooth. Pity 'bout the loss of 13HP due to a cat, but all in all fast enough by contemporary standards. |
