PB model kit 03: Lancia Prisma Vitesse model of the Lancia Delta 4WD
A hobby since childhood,
(so you think you've grown up, eh?)
the last few years I limited myself to Lancia models in 1:43
In '96, after many, many years
of searching finally...

...found a model of the Prisma! Chasing in Holland, France and Italy and ever so many "No le ha face" found out that PB Models (a one-man company by signore Pilade Barbotti in Rome) actually did build a 1:43 Prisma. Only no regular shop seemed to import PB models. Through LCN finally found Arjan de Roos, who did... thank you!

So...  put the project together!

Not a really exiting chase... just bought the grey  Vitesse-model of the Delta at the local toyshop in '92.  But, as my 1:1 Delta needed a respray in '94, they did the model at the same price. So, an exact colormatch! Of cause my manual efforts at chrome and rubber details...

Another great Solido model. In the last week of 2003 I stumbled on this new Fulvia model while visiting the Franke Lancia garage.

Again very well finished. It comes in the now familiar tin box on its own pedestal.

Minichamps has made a limited (2.016 pcs) series of the Nea prototype in 2003. I was lucky enough to get hold of one.

It has a very detailed interior.

Lancia brings us a new model... it's the Thesis and no... it is not the same as the Dialogus below. It is very nicely finished, well proportioned and in a very distinguished color.

As is becoming usual, it comes in a special metal box... so... a real collectors item!

Vitesse did a curtain call for the Delta in 2001 in a very nice display. Much more detailed than the original model with wipers, painted bumpers , striping, interior and so.

And as I'm still a big Delta fan...

1:43 Solido model of the Astua coupé

Solido is doing good things for the Lancia collector in 2000.

This well detailed 1935 Astura coupé had to come into the collection to compensate for all the modern Lancia models.

1:43 Solido model of the Dialogus

Oh dear, no self-control. But this Dialogus model (2000) is very, very, very special. Special metallic color with that "copper" finish, doors opening to a very detailed interior, perfect finish, lovely details...

...SOLD.

It comes in al special metal box. Very good work by Solido!

Lancia Thema 8.32 by Midlife Models Building now... in the summer of '99:
the Lancia Thema 8.32

Powered by a Ferrari V8 this must have been the most exiting Thema.

The temption was too big. The Alitalia Stratos is a beauty. And then it came with a Rallye de Monte Carlo diorama with the roadsign pointing to Sospel (F), a good holiday memory. So I finally boughd it, the 26 of june '99. Stratos model
Lancia Lybra model by Vitesse Ahhh... tempted by a testdrive in the new Lybra (a 1.8 VVT... wow) this Solido model came as a surprise present when buying our new Delta. Neatly boxed like the Dialogus and the same richness in details. Thank you mr. Franke!
An souvernir from the Sparepartday 25 july '98: a very retro model by Scottoy of the Appia.
