I just added my rifle to the Gallery. I finally got the pics at the right size, so they should work. If not, I'll have to try again later.
I won the bid for the Guns Digest 2000 over at the auction, so I should be getting that soon. I am also selling my old paintball gun, so I will have enough money to get the silencer!!!

Just added two new Sniper Tales. I especially like the Young Sniper one. This demonstrates that you don't have to be over 18 to be a good airsofter!

Hey, I was surfing over to Redwolf, looking for a decent sidearm (I'm either getting a WA Beretta or a Glock 17 Rail Frame), and I noticed they had a section entitled "Bolts". I clicked it, and, lo and behold, it was a section dedicated to bolt-action weapons! Here is what they have, and, apparently, they fixed the APS-2 error. Check out the Blaser...and it's price!:

 Asahi

Blaser R93
The latest release in modern sniper systems, the R93 is a non-traditional bolt action rifle in all respects. Super adjustable components make the assist in perfect shots. Extremely accurate. Abundant metal parts. Weaver rail mount included.

 Sunproject

M40A1
Used by elite snipers in law enforcement and the military, this M40A1 is extremely realistic with full metal and real wood construction. Cocking action is light. This spring powered weapon packs a wallop at 1.7joules (using 0.25g BBs) or 390fps. With an optional gas unit modification, we dare not even post the power on this site! Limited supplies since Sun Project has discontinued the M40A1. Biipod & scope not included. Read our review!

 APS-2
A true sniping weapon, the APS2 is a great alternative to those who yearn for the discontinued M40A1. With it's extra long barrel (almost a foot longer than the M40A1), the APS2 holds even more potential given it's ability to also take a gas modication just like the M40A1. All metal large diameter barrel with plastic stock. Can mount bipod.

I just replaced the upgraded spring and spring guide in my APS-2 SV with the old ones...but not the piston. For some odd reason, the piston stopper will not lock onto the stock one, so I cannot use it...but everything else is fine. And let me tell you...while it is easy to cock, it is NOWHERE as satisfying as firing with the upgraded spring. It is more of a POP sound than the CRACK of the upgraded one. Oh well. I may do some tests tonight in the house, and some outside tests tomorrow.
Smurfett has added lots of info about APS-2 SV upgrades at her page, so check it out. Speaking of upgrades, Jerold is allowing to let me use pics of Guns Digest 2000 APS-2 SV upgrades. I'll put 'em up tomorrow.

 1/24/00 5:25 PM~The Cleaner
Hey, Smurfett started a web page. there is not too much yet, but she already has a very informative APS-2 SV manual. Her site is going to be more of a database for snipers, as she can not update a lot, so she can only post a lot of info from time to time. Check it out: http://www.geocities.com/smurfett_14/. I'm going to add it to my links page.

Here is some info I got from Black Fox on the Predator APS:

The Predator is $800. This comes with acomplete interal upgreade. You can set your own velocity limit (500fps max). External upgrades include larger outer barrel to give it a more realisic look. It's also very quiet. Range varies depending on velocity. Maximum range is about 80~100 yards at 500 fps with a 0.25g BB's. It's accuracy is very good up to about 70 yards. I'm not sure beyond that range.

And here is some info on BBs:

There was also some info on bio-degradable BBs, but since that does not really pertain to airsoft, I think it is not too necessary.
Smurfett is going to be making a database-like webpage for your viewing enjoyment. It is going to have a huge guide on the APS-2 SV, and lots of stuff on improving your sniping.
Phil Main (SARCOM), also known as POTI, will be giving me a guide on SP M40 upgrades and fine tunings. Stay tuned for more.

UPDATE! I found a stock that fits my Super 9 and i should buy it soon. Also I'm trying to contact Kang(the korean dude) about getting him to post or list all of korean gun's inventory because some of those kits might be good sniper rifles because they are spring anyways plus they are kits so you can modify them right out of the box.

 1/21/00 4:15 PM~The Cleaner
Well, I was checking out Redwolf, to go see if they had a price posted at their spring rifles section for the M40. Well, it was something like Limited Stock or something, so that was a downer...BUT! I saw that they now carry the Maruzen APS-2 for $250! Although it is listed as APS-2 SV, it has the APS-2's signature longer barrel and iron sights, whereas the SV has a short barrel with a flash hider and no sights. Oh well. We all make mistakes. Check it out for a good price: it's lower than DEN's.

 1/20/00 9:23 PM~The Cleaner
Thanks to Phil Main (SARCOM) for informing me of the Sun Project M40A1s in LIMITED STOCK!!! Check out Redwolf Airsoft for the guns. Actually they are M40s (Remington 700-40), due to the wooden stock, because M40A1s have synthetic stocks. Oh well: we all make mistakes.

I added the information Gallery section for Sniper's new HK51 Urban Sniper/Counter Sniper Rifle. It is currently being sold at The Gunrunner's Online Auction, so check it out if you want an amazing, one of a kind gun.
Well, we got a few inches of snow down here in Fort Valley, VA, and there is VERY little, if no, wind. I'm going outside right now to do some tests with the new BBs.

 1/18/00 5:52 PM~The Cleaner
Check out the Gallery section for Sniper's new HK51 Urban Sniper/Counter Sniper Rifle. Also, be sure to look at the bottom of the page in case you were thinking of taking those pics.

I received my BBs, and updated the Reviews section with some early impressions of the BBs. Also, I remeasured some distances, and it turns out that Smurfett's long range shot from 80 yards was actually 60 yards! Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused! I'll do some 70 and 80 yard testing tomorrow for some real results ;)

I apologize for such a late update. I have been quite busy organizing a game at my house next weekend, and so far, everything is going as planned.
Removed Sniper' M700 from the Sales page. It has been sold.
I am receiving a bag of SIIS .33g BBs and some Straight .43g BBs on Monday, so I will be sure to do some tests. One of the guys that is coming down for the game next weekend is bringing down a chronograph, so I can check out the fps of various BBs (.11g, .12g, .2g, .25g, .3g, .33g, and .43g) with my APS-2 SV.Airsoftzone.com has some info on a whole lotta Killer Studios sniper rifle. Here is the info:

Killer Studios 'HYDRA' PSG1
For about a grand you can have the Grand Daddy of all the modern sniper weaponry with Killer Studios 'HYDRA' PSG1 Custom AEG. This gun features a 300% spring, Systema Internals, a longer 6.04mm diameter tight-bore steel barrel, 12v Battery and a way cool silencer to boot.

Killer Studios 'Predator' APS
For you APS Sniper fans out there, Killer Studios has designed the ultimate APS Sniper gun with their highly customized 'Predator'. The internals of the Maruzen APS (Air Precision Shooting) spring gun have been upgraded with a new cylinder, spring and tighter bore stainless steel barrel. This gets the gun shooting accurate at about a 100 meters! Killer Studios has also replaced the exsisting outer barrel for an awesome bull barrel/integrated silencer.

 Killer Studios PSG Sniper Linup
Killer Studios, in Japan, is releasing a whole line of Custom Airsoft Sniper weapons based on the PSG1 & SG1 series rifles from Tokyo Marui. With highly modified internals (300% spring, 12v battery, etc.) these guns are made for long distance only! But with a spare $1000 USD and a bag of .33 bbs, you could really reach out and touch someone during your next Airsoft skirmish.

Hydra PSG1 Shorty - is based off of the TM PSG1 with a much shorter external barrel.

Yamaneko G3 Sniper - is based off of the TM G3 SG1 with a Killer Elite 3-16x50 Scope.

Micro Sniper PSG - is like the Yamaneko G3 Sniper but with a shorter foregrip and outer barrel.

These guns kick SO MUCH ASS!!! Especially the APS "Predator"! These guns prove me correct when I say that the APS can shoot 100 meters!!!

Ok my pictures didnt come at well because I must of at some point exposed the film to light. So I'm going to borrow my friends digital camara to take them.

 1/9/00 12:52 PM~The Cleaner
Check out Sniper's new M16A3 Sniper Rifle in the Gallery. That rifle kicks ass. Also, in Sniper news, check out the M700 in the Sales section, with a new price.
In other news, I decided to make the page easier to load, so I just linked to the image of the COMBAT SV below. Also, I made the December news into an archive.

 1/5/00 8:25 PM~KMAN
Ok i took some pictures of my super9 im just waiting to get them developed, also, this whole week I've been job hunting, so I can get some more guns, keep your fingers crossed.
1/5/00 6:30 PM~The Cleaner
OK, I just got the picture uploaded. It took 20 minutes, but it was worth it. It is from COMBAT Magazine, October 1999 Issue. The accessories here are from KM/Head 19.50. Among the Japanese text you can make out words like MP5 and APS, so these accessories are for other guns. I bet those two barrels with things on the end are the adjustable HOP-UP barrels that they sell.

This is good news for me. I'm going to order the .36g BBs soon, but, unfortunately, due to DEN's $50 minimum, I also have to work up some money for some more BBs. Oh well. Maybe I'll get an extra magazine, too.
I'm gonna have a pic up very soon of some KM/Head 19.50 APS-2 SV and other assorted gun accessories. KM/Head 19.50 is known for their all metal accessories and upgrades for gun, and they have an adjustable APS-2 SV barrel for the SV, as well as a silencer. Hell yeah!!!

Since KMAN's main title pics doesn't seem to work, I decided to modify one that he's already given me, and post it. I'm gonna work on yours, though, KMAN. The pics of the APS-2 SV should be up soon. Someone's going to send them to me soon.

 1/3/00 6:41 PM~The Cleaner
I've got my pictures developed! There are some really nice pics of the SV and other pics, so you'll be seeing some new title pics soon! In other news, Smurfett has decided to buy a Super 9 for testing and just plain fun to see what she can do with it! KMAN, if you could help her with some pointers, I'm sure she'd appreciate it.

For KMAN's e-mail address, check the bottom of this page. I was gonna do that, but, once again, he thought ahead, and did it for me. Thanks.

Happy New Years (a little late, but hey, who gives a crap?)!!! As part of the New Years celebration, I am going to: post some good pics this week; get the new sniper test up and running; add a new Technical section; add some of my own Sniper Tales : ); and I will also try to find some good deals, and I also have some info on an APS-2 SV silencer and HOP-UP barrel, but more on that later.
I added my bi-pod to my gun, and it definately helps aiming and accuracy. I'll add to the new Techincal section on how to install a bi-pod. If anyone is wondering about getting a bi-pod, I say YES. It definately helped me out this weekend during the 15 or so games I played with smurfett and my cousins.
If you want some info on the APS-2 SV's performance in battle, check out the Reviews section. this is for all those who have been pondering the performance of this superb sniper rifle.
