| Chabot College CLEA Scholarship Application 2004-05 |
| Dear Prospective Applicant: The Chabot College Chicano/Latino Education Association (CLEA) is pleased to announce the availability of the 2004-05 college scholarships for entering and continuing students. The scholarship is funded through fundraising efforts of the Association and by supporting individuals dedicated to the educational achievement of Chabot College students. Requirements 1. Scholarships will be awarded to students based on their goals, academic achievement, two essay questions and community involvement. 2. Applicants must be entering or continuing students at Chabot College. 3. Scholarship winners must provide enrollment verification in at least six (6) units for Fall 2004 before disbursement. The scholarship is for the 2004-05 academic year. The size and number of scholarships awarded will depend upon available funds during the application period. Past awards have ranged from $100-$500. Documentation required: Applicants must submit a: 1. Completed application 2. Letter of Recommendation* 3. Copy of transcripts(s) *Letter must be from someone other than a family, i.e. teacher, counelor, employer, supervisor, clergy, etc. DEADLINE: Application with all supporting documents must be postmarked and or, received by April 2, 2004. An incomplete application will not be considered. Application must be typed or printed legibly.
