About Us....
Clayton
Animal Shelter is operated by the Johnston County S.P.C.A. The shelter
provides a haven for homeless, abused and/or
neglected animals in our community. Our goal is to place these animals
into a loving and permanent homes.
Funding ....
The Johnston County S.P.C.A is a 501c3, non-profit
organization.
The Clayton Animal Shelter receives
no funding from local city,
county, or state governments.
We are 100% supported
by donations and dependant upon volunteers!

Location
The Clayton Animal Shelter is located at 720
Durham St. in Clayton,
off Highway 70 east.

SATURDAY 1-4
*OTHER HOURS BY APPOINTMENT.

All
animals adopted are
spayed/
neutered, and vaccinated
before going to their new
home.

Adoption
Guidelines
and
Fees......

The SPCA uses the same adoption guidelines as those recommended by the
Humane Society of the United States.
*Dogs are
adopted for inside or fenced area only.
*Cats
are adopted for inside only.
We do not
make a profit from any adoptions, however the new owner pays vet cost,
averaging
$125.00 for dogs, and $90.00 for cats.

Surrendering A Pet
There is
no fee to bring an
animal to the shelter.
Vet records for surrendered family
pets are helpful to determine vaccination and spay/neuter history. |
