Lugnaquillia Hike
25th October 2004
Lugnaquillia is the highest mountain in County Wicklow at 925m (3035 feet) high.
We started from Glenmalure, from the car park near Baravore Youth Hostel.
Following the footpath from the hostel we saw the steep cliffs of Benleagh (mountain), and followed up the waterfall
veering left and onto ridge to Lugnaquillia.
On the way back we followed ridge from Lugnaquillia to Cloghernagh
then down to Arts Lough, through the woods and jumping over the river on a fallen tree
returned to car park.
