Shady Oaks
The chocobo trots forward and brings you to a comfortable, shady spot dotted with random oak trees. Next to the largest lies a beautiful creature with a creamy white coat and captivating blue eyes.
The creature twitches its tail and eyes you with quiet bemusement.
"You new around here?" her voice is a purr. You shrug.
"You could say that," you reply, "I like your spot." She smiles and lays her ears back, incredibly relaxed.
"I like it, too," she agrees, "I was a little worried when I first came here from Ember's Adoption Agency about what it would be like but it turned out pretty good, I think." She pauses. "You want to sit a while?"
"Maybe another time," you say, taking your eyes from hers to look around for a moment, "I'm really interested in seeing the rest of Litobik at the moment."
"Enjoy your stay."
You nod and urge the chocobo on.
As you turn to leave, you notice a large Akita next to a tree, wagging his tail in greeting. He jogs past you and lays down by an oak across from his companion's and closes his eyes sleepily.
The chocobo smiles at you, waiting for your confirmation, and takes off with a smooth stride.
