My Recommendations for running a Dedicated Server

  1. You need a REALLY good ISP connection; must be at least 256k up and down
  2. You need a fast computer; at least 1GHZ with 512mb ram
  3. You need Windows 2000 or XP or Linux
  4. You need to have Rate Management plugin and HLBooster plugin
  5. You need Unstuck Pro Plugin as being stuck is inevitable
  6. You need Metamod, and an Admin program like Adminmod or AMXmod to be able to administrate your game.
