Sixteen inches tall!
Judith's Art Dolls
Lifelike, aren't they?  These portrait dolls are a bridge between Judy's soft sculpture and her clay work.  The bodies are cloth and batting over wire armatures, with polymer heads...and clothing hand-sewn by Judy.

And then an assortment of their favorite personal items are created to bring out their characters.

Judith
is available for commission.
portrait of John Bell
        "John Bell" portrait doll
John's wife commissioned Judy to create this 16-inch tall portrait, surrounded by the everyday things he enjoys - his morning paper, chocolate-covered cherries, and his professional (plumbing) tools!
John's head, hands and feet are sculpted from polymer clay, his moustache and hair from lamb's wool, the candy made of Fimo and the wrist watch crafted from the top foil of a champagne bottle!
