Thank You for all the support during the past year! Although the election results were not exactly what we wanted to see, they did show us all, that some of our leaders were not following the will of the people. The Republicans of Clay County have never wavered in their support for the basic principles that represent the Republican Party. We believe that the Republican leadership that survived the last election cycle understands that the Republicans in this Country want a return to border security, smaller government and integrity within government.

Clay County Republicans must now look forward to next year when we elect all State Officers and the U.S. House race. County organizations are very important to all levels because they are the base which organizes/initiates campaigns at the grass roots level. We want to be able to assist OUR Republicans Endorsed candidates in this way.

We are approaching a large deficit in Minnesota that will require the legislature to decide what is important to Minnesotans. Do we want the Twin Cities DFL legislators to decide the direction of the state? Please support the conservative movement by helping financially and by participating in the party activities. In March, we will be holding the Clay County Convention and electing party officers. If you are interested in serving, please contact me so I can refer your name to the nominations committee. The Minnesota Political Contribution Refund (PCR) program allows you to contribute to state/local organizations and/or candidates and receive a refund up to $50 per individual contribution or up to $100 per couple, per year. The Republicans of Clay County encourage you to contribute to as many Republicans as you are financially able to. We do ask that you keep in mind your local organization when you budget your political contributions. Your generous response to this letter will help us prepare for the challenges ahead.
