| THE STAGE ON BROADWAY | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Clay's regular schedule when he is in Nashville includes playing at one of three different clubs on "Lower Broadway" - the heart of live country music in Nashville. Each club has it's own theme and I will try and show you a little about them. First, The Stage On Broadway - the newest and largest club on the street. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Originally the site of the Roy Acuff Museum. the building which houses The Stage on Broadway stood vacant for some time before Rubel Sanderson renovated it and opened The Stage. The Stage is filled with memorabelia from "real" country artists and singing cowboys. It sets a perfect "stage" for Clay and his music! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Clay always feels at home with this ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING of The Highwaymen which hangs over the door at The Stage...Do you see the shadow behind Waylon? Who do YOU think it is? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Clay really enjoys playing at this particular club. The balcony provides a "birds eye view" of the stage... | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Although The Stage is home to many regular size guitars, this super-sized flat top gets lots of attention from visitors. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Speaking of guitars, this is a picture of ONE guitar signed by not only Vern Gosdin but Charlie Pride...they were both on stage at The Stage last June during Fan Fair with a Texas artist named Sonny Burgess... | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
