In May 2005, Gibson unveiled 37 10' guitars which had been decorated by visual artists. Each guitar is very unique and they are displayed all over Nashville. At the end of a year they will be auctioned off to raise money for charity. Visit www.guitartown.com for news, pictures. There is one of these guitars outside Legends Corner on 5th and Broadway. It features 13 legendary Country Music Stars on the front and was painted by artist Ron Sweeney. The guitar is called "Honky Tonk Heros" and look who's on the back!!! Clay didn't come to Nashville to become "guitar art" but he thinks that this is really cool. If you're ever downtown, check it out. |
