Clawson, who did pretty much everything to the car but paint
it, is quick to note that he can't take credit for the idea of adding flames
to spark up this ride. That idea came from friend Bruce McDaniel who spent
years suggesting flames, before Clawson agreed and had ErnestVasquez of
Corpus Christi do the work. "It's the best thing I ever did", Clawson said. Of course, Clawson picked the color and stuck to his guns when folks tried to talk him out of blue, his favorite. Despite his passion for cars, crisscrossing the country to show his wheels isn't just about the automobile. It's about friendship as well. |
