Number of Wrestlers

The number of wrestlers per player is limited to one.

RULES

All wrestlers must be between the ages of 18 and 20 years of age.

  • Roleplaying is of paramount importance, just as it is in the regular BRA league. However, it's really not necessary to roleplay more than once per week with a Training BRA wrestler. The Training BRA is meant to be something a little "extra" for the Battling Ring Angels storyline and overall angle. It is not meant to get in the way of the regular league. However, the following is VERY IMPORTANT. In ALL Training BRA roleplays, PLEASE put [T] at the first of the subject line. We will NOT be using a separate message board for Training BRA roleplays, and this will allow other handlers to differentiate between whether a roleplay is for the regular league or not.
  • There are a few different factors, besides roleplaying that add in, however. Players will learn more on this below. Certain wrestler attributes will be higher than others, as well as things that they are good at (or not) as far as wrestling in general goes.
  • All Wrestlers' attire must consist of a one-piece Speedo type leotard/bathing suit. Also, NO footwear is to be worn.
  • There will be a trainer on hand at all times, in the event that one of the girls are injured. Also, the referee has the right to stop a match at any time if he/she believes that one wrestler should not continue.
  • The matches take place in a wrestling ring with softer mats much like collegiate wrestling mats. All matches can end one of two ways: by 3-second pin or by submission.
  • Once a wrestler reaches the age of 21, she is no longer elligable to compete in Training BRA. However, she may be called up, based on her performance, to receive a full contract with Battling Ring Angels.

    ATTRIBUTES

All Training BRA wrestlers are measured by the following attributes:

  • UPPER AND LOWER BODY STRENGTH - This is the relative strength that a female possesses. A very weak teen girl should be rated between 25 and 35; a lightweight female with above average strength would be rated between 40 and 50. A rating around 60 is quite a strong girl, and a 70+ should be reserved for women with tremendous strength. Most light to medium weight girls competing on an amateur level would fall between 45 and 60.
  • AGGRESSION - This is the amount of aggression that a female would possess when involved in a wrestling match. A woman who put forth little more than a "half-hearted" effort should be rated between 20 and 40. A go-getter who is very comfortable with the idea of wrestling might be rated between 60 and 75.
  • DEMEANOR - What type of temper might this woman have in a wrestling match? Would she taunt her opponent if she were dominating, or complain (or even cheat) if she were losing? Most females will fall between 35 and 50. An unusually calm or shy woman might be rated as low as 20 or less. A short-fused "dirty wrestler" will fall between 70 and 85.
  • QUICKNESS - Quickness and speed are two very different ratings. Quickness is more of a measure of "reaction time" as opposed to who would win a sprint. Most women fall between 30 and 60. Values between 60 and 80 constitute very quick reaction times.
  • BALANCE - How well can she maintain balance and coordination during a sporting event? Untrained and uncoordinated girls generally fall between 30 and 40. A good gymnast should be rated above 60 and perhaps as good as 80 if she were a Jamie Dantzscher or Vanessa Atler.
  • ENDURANCE - A very out of shape girl might be rated as low as 20 or less. Most females fall between 35 and 45. Distance runners without much strength training, for example, would fall between 55 and 65.
  • AGILITY - Agility is a woman's ability to reverse holds quickly, control her body and move across the mat quickly, and escape holds. It can also aid a girl in dominating in the top position. Agility is aided by flexibility, balance, quickness, and wrestling knowledge. Most women rate between 30 and 50. Good athletes are generally above 60.
  • WRESTLING TECHNIQUE - This rates the wrestling skill that a girl possesses. Most, in actuality, possess very little unless trained properly. Untrained women my rate as low as 20 or less. High school caliber wrestlers will rate anywhere between 50 and 80.
  • DETERMINATION - Determination is somewhat related to AGGRESSION. It's the rating that is used when a female is going "for the kill". A very determined wrestler won't stop until she pins her opponent to her back or forces her to submit. Determination is also different from Aggression when a girl is pushed to her limits. If she is very tired, a girl with little determination will see her performance degrade quickly. A very determined one will find a way to keep going.
  • RESOLVE - Resolve is related to Determination and Aggression, but is most important when a girl finds herself close to losing. If she doesn't have much Resolve, and her heart is not in the battle, she will give up quickly. A girl who refuses to surrender has a very high Resolve. You need to determine realistically (as with the entire character creation process) how much effort a girl would put forth if she were losing badly. If she would quickly surrender, she should have a rating of 25 to 40. Girls who would battle to the bitter end have a Resolve of 65 to 80.
  • In addition, all wrestlers will also be rated on the following maneuvers:

These are the maneuvers that can make or break a match, and the only ones that will require that the wrestler be rated on. They are, essentially, finishing holds. Please keep in mind that these are rated on the LIKLIHOOD of the wrestler using the move, NOT how good she is at applying the hold. If you believe that a wrestler would rarely use the hold, rate it 20 or less. Don't be afraid to rate her at ZERO for the hold. If you feel she'd use it often, rate her between 50 and 80.

  • TITLES

  • There will indeed be a champion for Training BRA. She will defend her title just as any other BRA wrestler would. This title is appropriately called the "Junior Missyweight Title", with the name based on a teen girls' boxing club in Texas called "Junior Missy Gloves".
  • SHOWS

  • The Battling Ring Angels weekly show takes place on Monday. The Training BRA matches do not move from place to place with the BRA Superstars. Instead, they wrestle in the same place week after week, in Beverly Hills, near Delilah Strain's main Delilah's Dolls office. Most Training BRA matches are taped at the event on Thursday evenings to be shown on the BRA live show on Monday nights.

    And Finally....

Finally, remember that this is only a game and try not to take losses too seriously. We are all participating in writing a story. Enjoy it and have fun playing. That is our only goal. Bitching will not be tolerated here at all. If you have a problem with a match, feel free to discuss it with management, and they will talk rationally about it with you. Do NOT bitch at or about a writer, this leads to an immediate expulsion from the fed. Writer put forth a lot of effort for you to enjoy, and without pay, and often without thanks. Please do not give them a hard time.

    Have fun, and enjoy.
    Thank you,
    BRA management.
