| Dolza, aside from Breetai, is the tallest and strongest of the Zentraedi and the eldest aside from Exdore. He is the Commander in Chief of the entire Zentreadi Fleet, directing operations from the huge Command Centre which is over 7 miles in diametre, the Centre is able to manufacture Zentraedi ships from it's own material, as long as it has Protoculture that is. It is for this reason, that he is so desperate to get the SDF-1 and the Protoculture Matrix that is hidden within it. It is Dolza's hope that once he has the Matrix, he will be able to free himself from the Robotech Masters, who have forced the Zentraedi to do their bidding for many years. Dolza is very war-driven and most of his orders include a threat, no more so then during the interrogation of the micronian captives, when he orders an entire planet be destroyed to prove the power of the six million strong Zentraedi Armanda. Dolza eventually commits around two million ships in the effort to capture the SDF-1, as his concerns about the strange powers of the micronians increase, this concern is brought to head when the micronian capatives demonstrate a 'Kiss', leaving Dolza, Breetai and Exedore reeling. Dolza unsatisified with Breetai's performance in recapturing ship, takes him off the mission and replaces him with Azonia and the rest of the female Zentraedi. However, as Dolza watches the battle records and the movie 'Small White Dragon' he slowly changes his mind about capturing the SDF-1 intact, and finally when Azonia reports that Breetai, once his most loyal subordinate, has actually entered Peace Talks with the Micronians that he will destroy not only the SDF-1 and the Earth, but all the Zentraedi under Breetai's, Azonia's and Khyron's command and the Commanders themselves! Dolza takes the huge Zentraedi fleet and folds close to Earth, expecting an easy win and at first all seems to go to plan as the fleet destroys 75% of the Earths surface killing most of the micronian population. He is unprepared for the strength of the Micronian and Renegade Zentreadi assualt, using both Minmei's song and a kiss. These leave Dolza's Zentreadi force so disorientated that the SDF-1 manages to break through the hull of his Commander Centre and from there it sets of every weapon in its aresnal destroying it and killing Dolza. The SDF-1 protected by its Omnidirectional Barrier is mostly protected and returns to Earth. |
