| We first meet Bron and his friends during the Miss Macross Pagent, the Zentraedi's confused by the television signals they have being receiving from the SDF-1 send the three out to record the signals and report back. What Bron, Rico and Konda see is absolutely shocking, males and females together on a stage, females wearing uniforms that seem to have no function whatsoever. In fact they are so immersed in it they don't even realise that one of the Micronians have been sent out in a new mecha to attack them, at least not until the almost crash into it! In the resulting battle Bron, Rico and Konda escape, but lose all the footage much to Breetai's fury. However even that brief look at Micronian culture seemed to affect the three strangely, they desperately want to learn more and have no problem giving up their status as warriors so that they can become the first Zentraedi spies. Once micronised they are delievered to the SDF-1 admist a battle and get on without being noticed. They are utterly shocked by the strange atmosphere of the SDF-1, where it appears not everyone is a warrior and at first they are confused by the clothing and Bron ends up wearing female clothes! Eventually they intergrate themselves into Micronian life, even going on a date with the Bridge Bunnies! Bron develops an interest in Vanessa and she with him, but Bron and his friend's main interest is Minmei. Ever since they saw her on screen at the Pagent, they are obsessed with her and her singer, taking every opportunity they can to see her. When their mission is over the three return with a wealth of Micronian artifiacts they have gathered and report the wonders of Micronian life to Breetai, who is rather concerned by their enthuisiasm. All of the Micronian artifacts they brought back are confiscating except for a Minmei doll, which sings and ends up making the rounds of the Zentraedi ships. Eventually a large number of Zentraedi want to defect to the Micronian side and experience all they have to offer. This defection is successful and they are accepted by the Micronians, despite a few who don't much care for living with the enemy. It is Bron, Rico and Konda who first enjoy Micronian life and eventually Breetai and the rest of his fleet follow and together they succeed in destroying Dolza's army. Bron, Rico and Konda never return to the military and instead take up odd jobs and Earth, go to Minmei concerts and hang out with the Bridge Bunnies when possible. |
